Part 15

Love was all through flowing in his blood. He ran towards his car not even minding saying good bye to Karan, he drove off.

Karan:- dost dost na raha… pyaar pyaar na raha… (He smiled seeing Virat driving fast)

Virat was so happy today, he wanted to reach home as soon as possible, so that he could take her in embrace and confess his love. He was smiling….murmuring a song…… thinking about manvi all the way driving. Just then it started snowing… he stopped his car and turned it immediately towards market. He entered gift shop and started looking for a perfect gift for manvi. He was moving his eyes over each and every piece on shop when he saw a crystal ball with a sweet girl and snow falling on her….

He reached home… and taking a gift bag, he entered the main door…. He was stunned to see manvi was carrying a bag and all were looking at her….

Manvi:- k… Dadu… u take care of urself, and take ur medicines on time….

Aaditi:- don't worry manvi… we will take care of ur Dadu…. Just… come soon…. We will really miss u… (And hugged manvi)

Virat stood at door like statue. He was so shocked to say anything. The bag fell down from his hand…. everyone's eyes moved towards him…

Dadu:- virat!!! Kal raat bhar kaha the tum???

(Virat… where were u whole night??)

Virat totally ignored dadu's question and stared at manvi… slowly walking near her…

Virat:- where r u going???... Who did u ask before leaving… how u could do this to me manvi…. (shrugging her shoulder)

All were shocked seeing Virat's reaction….

Manvi's eyes got wide open… she knew if she don't stop him now… he would blurt out whole truth now.

Manvi: - (trying hard to smile) sorry Virat…. I know u r really upset as I broke my promise to come with u, to tonight's party…..but don't worry… I'll be back in two days…. I m going to Nishi's home… she is bit ill… so I have to be with her now….

Aaditi: - yes Virat, she is going to stay with her friend for two days…. Let her go… u can take her to party any other time….

Virat was still angry on her for not telling him about her leave….. He knew she was lieing about Nishi's health… actually she was running away from him….

He took gift bag and stormed towards his room fuming in anger…

Manvi's eyes got wet… she turned back looking him going upstairs in anger….

Dadu:- don't cry dear….. He has been like this always. He gets angry on people he is concerned and love….. By the day u r back… he will become normal. Now smile…. And come back soon…

Manvi:- k… bye Dadu!!!

Dadu:- bye beta!!!

Ram:- chalo manvi… I'll drop u to ur friend's house…

Manvi:- k….

At Nishi's home….

Nishi:- mannu… what a pleasant surprise…. It's so great to see u!!!!

Manvi gave her a smile…. and suddenly hugged her tightly…. Nishi felt something wrong with her…as whenever they meet after long time… first of all she would have screamed and jumped…. But today manvi just hugged her silently without even saying hi….

After a while they broke hug… and nishi was about to ask her… when Rishi came…

Rishi:- di… u came…. I m so happy…. Now we will celebrate Christmas together… I was really missing u…

Manvi:- me too….(keeping her hand on his cheek)

Nishi:- manvi… r u alright???... I mean u r not my friend who used to always smile…. did that Virat vadhera say u something????

Manvi stiffed her body hearing his name…. but maintaining coolness on her face…. she spoke….

Manvi:- no yaar… nothing like that….. I will just go to the room…. I m really tired….

Nishi:- k…. we will talk later… go have some rest!!!!

Manvi took her bag and locked her room….

Rishi:- Nishu di…. Manvi di seems upset!!!

Nishi:- yes…. But its better we ask about the reason later… let her b alone for sometime… and Rishi (pointing finger) u better don't disturb her…

Rishi:- k di….

Virat was in his cabin… thinking about manvi…. when Karan came smiling wide…

Karan:- hey buddy….. Toh meri bhabhi ne kya kaha???

Virat was still silent thinking hard….

Karan: - Virat… VIRAT… (Shrugging his shoulder)

Virat: - oh… Karan… when did u come???

Karan: - almost 26 years back…!! (Winking)

Virat smiled…

Karan:- thank god…. U smiled…. Now tell me what happen???

Virat:- manvi left my house and now she is staying with her friend as her friend is sick….

Karan:- WHAT!!!...but why???... And why did u let her go???

Virat:- she told everyone, that she will be back in two days…. But I know….she is lying….she left because she is upset on me…. I should have controlled myself yesterday. I m really feeling guilty Karan….I don't want to lose her at any cost.… (And his eyes got wet)

Karan:- Virat…. Hey don't lose hope….. I know what she feels for u…. all u have to do is talk with her…. so don't waste time and run… get her back buddy!!!…

Virat:- I think u r right….. (Getting up from chair)…. I will talk with her now!!!

Just then Sonia stormed inside without knocking…..

Virat:- Sonia!!!!! Is everything alright???

Sonia:- no Virat….. Veronica is here to meet u…. I tried to stop her… but she was adamant to meet u now!!!

Karan:- holy Christ!!!!! Not that b**** again!!!

Virat:- watch out Karan!!!... Today is Christmas…. No bad words for anyone…..

Karan: - stop worrying about my language….. Veronica is here….. I hope she won't do any drama now!!!!

Virat:- don't worry… I can handle her….Sonia send her inside….. And Karan…I'll talk to u later… bye!!!

Karan: - k.. Bye….

After a while…. Veronica came inside…. Virat was walking to and fro, getting engrossed in his file….

Veronica:- hi Virat!!!...

Virat:- I don't think.. U r here to say hi…. just get to point veronica…

Veronica:- first of all… I want u to concentrate on our conversation…than that file…..

Virat closed file and kept it on table… and looked at her with straight face…. crossing his arms…

Virat:- k… say whatever u want to say… and leave… because I have more important work to do…

Veronica:- Virat… why r u being so rude with me???

Virat:- I think… u know the reason….

Veronica: - please Virat forgive me…. I don't want to lose u…. I will even apologize to manvi if u want me to…. But please don't leave me…

Virat:- veronica…. I don't love u anymore. U doesn't have any space in my heart. U broke my heart the day u left me without saying anything….but still I thought of giving u one more chance. But again u disappointed me… u r still the same who can just think about herself ….

(Sighing) veronica…. Just move on with Ur life… don't keep any hopes from me…. I won't take u back in my life….. Please leave now…..

Veronica walked towards him and pulled him in forceful hug…..

Veronica:- no Virat…. I won't leave till u accept me again…..!!!

Virat pushed her back hard….He was really angry on her, as manvi had to suffer because of her….

Virat:- (in loud voice) I WON'T COME BACK IN UR LIFE EVER…..BECAUSE I LOVE SOMEONE ELSE…. AND U CAN'T TAKE HER PLACE IN MY HEART…. DO U GET THAT!!!

Veronica was shocked. She never expected Virat to love anyone else than her. She stood still looking at him with wide eyes…. A tear came out of her eye…..

Veronica:- what!!!! u love someone!!!...

Virat:- yes… I love her more than anything in this world!!!

Veronica:- what's so great about that girl Virat…. Is she really that good in bed!!!!

Virat's anger went up in its highest peak… his eyes got red in rage…. he shouted on his top voice…

Virat:- VERONICA!!!!

Veronica:- why??!!… Did I say something wrong??...

Virat:- no one more word from ur mouth or else I'll forget u r a women…. Just get out before I call my security guards!!!!

Veronica turned and walked in anger…. Then she stopped suddenly near door… and turned

Veronica:- Virat…. One day u will regret this moment…. I wish… she too leaves u as u left me!!!!

Virat stood there like statue. He felt as if his heartbeats stopped for a moment listening veronica words. Even the thought of manvi leaving him was scary. He shrugged all thoughts and took his car keys and coat, and ran out to meet manvi….

Manvi was at dining table with nishi and Rishi. She was still quite… with no word or expression. Nishi's was worried looking at manvi…. Just then someone knocked at door…. Nishi opened door…

Virat:- hi…. is manvi there at home???

Nishi was so stunned with his arrival, to say anything; hence she just nodded in yes…

Virat came inside and walked straight towards manvi who was looking down at food in her plate which was still untouched…. He held her arm and made her stand…

Manvi was so shocked to see Virat in front of her… she knew what was coming for her now… seeing his eyes which were red in rage. He dragged her in a room and locked from inside….

Rishi stood looking at them in confusion…

Rishi:- Nishu di… what is Virat vadhera doing here??? And why did he drag mannu di like this???

Nishi just sighed looking at him…

Rishi:- what's going on di???...tell me everything!!!!!

Nishi told him about the job...Contract and everything she knew….

Rishi:- why did u not tell me about this before???

Nishi:- because manvi told me to do so…. But now my concern is why she is so sad… and what is Virat doing here???

Virat:- why r u avoiding me manvi???

Manvi looked at him forcing a smile on her lips….

Manvi:- no… I m not… I told u na… nishi was ill so I came to be with her for few days….

Virat:- but… she looks fine….

Virat came near her and hold her both arms….

Virat:- u can fool whole world with ur lies but not me…. I can read Ur eyes manvi…

Manvi felt so weak seeing in his eyes, which were full of love only for her. She always wanted someone to make her feel special…and love her endlessly…. And today that man was standing in front of her… but she was helpless….

They both stood silent seeing each other for a while… then manvi pulled herself out from dreamland and moved back and turned around back facing him……

Manvi:- I don't know what r u saying…. I m not lieing… she is really ill….

Virat turned her body around to face him and he shoved her against wall pinning between his two strong arms…. his gaze was fierce…..

Manvi was herself breathless… her body was shivering a bit…. Virat leaned in more closely and stared at her with an intensity that struck her to core. He looked crazy…

Manvi: - Wh... What r…. u doing???

Manvi's word's came out from her throat silently enough to be called as a whisper…

Virat saw her slightly parted lips…the rush of memory of their last night's kiss engulfed him. He was still able to feel the sweet taste of her lips on him. Manvi was getting weaker by every passing second. He leaned in more near her lips… she saw the same passion and love which was during yesterday's kiss… She closed her eyes tightly and pushed him back…

Manvi:- door raho mujhse…. Please don't ever come close to me…. I beg u…. don't make it any harder on me…

And tears started flowing down her eyes…. Virat tried moving near her… but she stopped him gesturing by her hand.

Virat:- manvi…. U can stop me coming near u…. but u can't stop Ur heart loving me back!!!

Manvi:- (shouting) I can Mr. vadhera…. And I m not in love with u…. and will never be!!!!

Virat smiled

Virat:- thanks for telling me that, how much u love me!!!!... I will wait for u till I breathe my last breathe….

And he left leaving a stunned manvi behind…. She fell down on her knees…and silent tears started flowing down her eyes….

Nishi came inside and saw her state…. She pulled her in hug….

Nishi:- manvi…

Manvi:- Nishu…. I love him!!! I can't live without him…. I feel like dying Nishu!!!!

Manvi was crying out loudly shivering. Nishi patted her back consoling her... After a while when she only heard silent small sobs…. she pulled her out from hug and cupped her face…

Nishi:- mannu… then why don't u tell him….. Can't u see how much he loves u!!!

Manvi:- no Nishu… I can't…. He doesn't tell me but I know…. He is not able to find his real cousin… and his dadu's condition is not so good to bear the truth. And even if in future Dadu survives knowing about me…being a fake…..will his family accept me as his wife… who once was his cousin!!!!

Nishu I want to protect him from getting hurt in future with my lies….. So I will lie till he accepts it as truth!!!!

Nishi's eyes got wet watching her friend who was going through so much pain.. but still she is trying hard to protect her love from getting any hurt….

Nishi:- I m really proud of u manvi…..but u know what… god won't let u both suffer… he will bring u both together… trust me!!!

Meanwhile Virat was standing outside beside door leaning back on wall, hearing everything manvi said…. A tear came out from his eyes…. He never knew that she was going through so much pain…..

He was back again to give her the gift he brought for her birthday, which he forgot in his car… but when he reached near door he heard that words which engulfed his hearts with joy… she loved him…. and all that it was, he wanted to hear… but the reason behind her lieing him made his heart bleed…..

Virat:- (thinking)manvi….. I promise u… I will never leave u… nor will I let u go easily. I will find my cousin as soon as possible…. And will make u mine…. I will hold ur hand till my last breathe…. no one can separate us…. not even my family….I will fight with whole world for u….. And that's my promise manvi!!!!!

He left the gift bag at door and left……
