Virat: - haan Aaditi mausi…..she is daughter of Payal aunty…..

Mrs. Sharma: - did u cross check and verify it????

Virat: - ya…. I have verified it…..

Throughout conversation manvi was looking towards ground. She was feeling bad lying so many people…..

Karan:- cindrella….. what were u doing at restaurant that day?????

Manvi was startled hearing Karan's question….but still maintaining sweet smile, she looked towards him….

Manvi:- I am at my friend's house in Shimla…. And that day she was ill, so I thought of working in her place. I wanted to experience how it feels to do such jobs….that why…..

Karan:- oh…..u r really cool… !!!!!

Mrs. Sharma:- Virat, why did u hide this news from us then?????

Virat:- manvi didn't want it that way…. She has a family in London with whom she lives. She was very nervous all along…..so I thought it would be better to hide from everyone.

Ram: - then Virat, how did u find her???

Virat was speechless. He was unable to think of any story to tell. Just then manvi came to his rescue…..

Manvi:- actually uncle….I have been working here in India from sometime….for personal experience. One day I got a call from my parents and they told me that someone came looking for me at the orphanage from where I was adopted…..so I called orphanage and they gave me Virat's contact number and thus I got to meet my real family…. (smiling)

Virat was surprised with her skills…..he felt relived after her good explanation to his uncle.

Virat: - yes uncle…that's how I got her back, and one more thing I want to request u all….

Aaditi: - what is it Virat???

Virat: - I want u all to keep this thing a secret from media and all people, until manvi feels comfortable being a granddaughter of vadhera family…..

Mrs. Sharma: - k…… we won't say a word to anyone about it…..

Aaditi:- then we will too leave then…as we have to prepare so many things to welcome manvi….in vadhera mansion…. (Smiling)

Virat:- I'll pay u….till u stay at my home…I will give u my Delhi mansion too. …..and as I find my cousin u will be free and u will be given a good job in my Bangalore hotel ….and no one will try to bother u, from my family….

Virat:- k…then….jao…..magar dadu ki condition ki zimedaar tum hogi……who abhi bhi puri tarah stable nahi hai….. agar unko koi shock laga toh unki jaan bhi ja sakti hai…….please manvi…..just for once…….

(k…then leave..but u will be responsible for dadu's condition, as he is still not so healthy to bear any shock. He can even die…..so please agree with me for once…..)

Virat drove his car towards his house with manvi. They reached near big gates. Her eyes grew wide as she saw his house…or maybe it was more than a mansion. She knew he was rich but this kind of rich, she was not expecting. Virat saw her expressions and laughed….

Virat:- yeh hamare purkho (ancestor) ka ghar hai. Hum Delhi se Shimla teen saal pehle shift hue, dadu ki zidd ki wajah se….

(this is our ancestor's house….we shifted three years back from Delhi to Shimla for Dadu )

Manvi:- oh!!!!...

Manvi got a hearty welcome from Aaditi and ram.

Aaditi:- aao manvi apne dadu ke ghar!!!!

As she entered mansion….she was awestruck with its inner beauty. She never in her life saw such beautiful house.

Manvi closed the door. And she started jumping and singing like a kid in excitement. It was exactly like her dream room. Virat smiled, as he was able to hear her voice in his room….

Virat:- pagal!!!!!!!

Virat was shuffling through the channels when he suddenly stopped on a news channel. He saw veronica giving interview. His heart felt a pain as soon as he remind her….

Virat:- (sadly) veronica…..u have finally succeeded

And he lean back his head on sofa and closed his eyes

*Flashback*

In a restaurant

Virat:- (giving her a gift) congrats sweetie….this is for u!!!!

Veronica:- hey thanks…..

Virat:- this is for ur success, in clinging the championship title.

She opens a gift….

Veronica:- oh….. God…it's my favorite wine…romanee-conti year 1979

Virat suddenly opened his eyes….he was really hurt by veronica. He loved her more than anything but she left him for her career when he needed her most. His parents died in an accident and Dadu was admitted in hospital as he was shocked with sudden death of his son and daughter in law. He needed her support, but she backed off and left him without saying anything for training in London.

Just then manvi knocked and entered his room….

Manvi:- Virat…..aunty bula rahi hai khana khane….chalo….

(Virat, aunty is calling us both for dinner….lets go…)

Virat:- no we are going out for dinner!!

Manvi: - (surprisingly) aaj mujpe itni meherbani kyu!!!????

Virat:-aaj tum mere company ki employ jo bani ho…. toh isse celebrate toh karna hoga na!!!!!

Manvi:- (thinking) ye iss rakhshas ko aaj kya hua hai….. jo bhi hua ho meri toh nikal padi…..aaj zaroor 5 star hotel mein khana khane ko milega!!!!! (smiling wide)

(what's the matter with this 'rakshas' today…why he is being so generous to me??!!, but whatever maybe I have hit a jackpot….today I'll get to eat in 5 star hotel….yipee!!!!)

Virat:- kya soch rahi ho….ms. LIE!!!!!

(what r u thinking Ms. Lie !!!!)

Manvi:- WHAT!!!! Ms. Lie!!!…….aur tum….mr. planner??!!!!!...

Virat:- hey…..bas karo….tum aa rahi ho ya nahi??

(hey….r u coming or should I go by myself???)

Manvi:- k….tum aunty ko bata do….mein tayar hoke aati hoon…..

(k…u take permission from aunty….till then…i'll get ready )

Virat:- jaldi karna….hume dinner karna hai…lunch nahi…..

Virat took her to dhaba for dinner. Manvi was very disappointed. She sat on the table angrily……

Manvi:- tum ammiro (rich people) ke naam pe dhabba (spot) ho virat…..

Virat:- kyu……tumhe 5 star mein khana tha kya????

(why???...u expected a 5 star treat???)

Manvi:- no thanks….mein khud chali jaungi jab mujhe meri first salary milegi…..woh bhi alkele….

(No thanks…I'll go there by myself….as I get my first salary….)

Virat:- don't worry…mein aa jaunga….tumhare peeche…..

Manvi:- dekhenge…..(pointing finger)

They ordered food and manvi started munching her food. Virat smiled seeing her fuming in anger while eating….Just then manvi listen some people talking about veronica…..

Manvi:- hey Virat….do u know veronica????

Virat was stunned…..

Virat:- (with straight voice) no…..

Manvi:- u know she had a boyfriend!!!! (Whispering)

Virat:- WHAT!!!!

Manvi:- and she dumped him…..for her career…..how mean of her….how could she do it……

He stopped eating…..

Virat:- who told u that???

Manvi:- Sonia told me…but I don't know who that guy is!!!

Poor guy…..he must be so furious seeing his ex so successful… that he won't be able to swallow food properly….

And he starts eating food…..

Virat smiled on her…..and suddenly his mobile rang…an unknown number flashed on screen….he took it…

Virat:- hello!!!

Veronica:- hi…Virat…..it's me… veronica….. I m back to Shimla…

Isn't u celebrating my victory with me???...u promised me… I'll be waiting for you at same place. You will be here right???

Virat:- I don't think I can keep my promise anymore……don't wait for me!!!!

And he disconnects the phone without listening her further.

Manvi wondered what made him so serious again…..

Manvi:- kya hua???...kiska call tha???

(What happen??? Who was on the call????)

Again he got the call from same number. He was very angry. He disconnected it, and stood up from his chair…..

Virat:- hume aab chalana hoga…..we are getting late…..

(we have to leave now…..we r getting late!!!)

And he left the table….without saying anything further…

Manvi:- pagal hai….khud pehle dinner ke liye bulata hai…aur aab thik se khane bhi nahi diya….aakdu kahin ka…..

(he is really strange…first by himself he took me out for dinner and now he didn't even let me eat properly….. idiot vadhera!!!!!)

Virat didn't speak a word. He kept on thinking and suddenly he turned his car and rode it to his hotel…..

And virat entered inside restaurant. It was on top floor of their hotel. That was their favorite place. He saw her still waiting for him with his gifted wine bottle. He came near her and sat opposite.

She was very happy seeing him…..

Veronica:- hi…. Virat…

How is dadu???...wait…since I m back I'll meet him personally….its been a long time I met him!!!

Virat was silent. He didn't speak a word with her. he was looking at her with stern face….

Veronica:- I got to know that u have been promoted as managing director……congratulations sweetie!!!!

As he heard her saying sweetie he broke his silence……

Virat:- I think…I should be the one who must be congratulating u for fulfilling ur dreams….(sarcastically)

Here manvi was getting bore waiting for him for so long. She was angry on him as he didn't allow her to eat properly. She got down from car and went inside looking for him...

Manvi:- yeh mr. planner kaha reh gaya…5 minutes bole ke fifteen minutes ho gaye abhi tak nahi aa raha….mujhe ek simple se dhabe mein khana khilakar khud yaha apne 5 star hotel mein kha raha hoga……mein uske cabin mein dekh leti hoon pehle…..

(Where is this Mr. Planner??...it's been long time...he told me to wait for 5 minutes, now its more than fifteen minutes and still he is not back…….I think he must be enjoying good food in his 5 star restaurant, and making me wait for him……but first I will look him in his cabin…..he might be there!!! )

She came near lift…as his office was on 10^th floor…..she waited for lift to open….

As soon as it opened….she got a shock of her life. Veronica was hugging Virat. She moved away from there before they could notice her….she hide in corner….from where she was able to see them…..

Manvi:- the guy…whom veronica dumped was Virat vadhera!!!!!!!! Hey bhagwan yeh meine uske samne kya kya bak diya uske baremein…..

Virat pushed her back and walked out of lift disgustingly…..

Veronica:- I m sorry I left u…..but please forgive me once….

Virat:- (getting angry)you didn't leave me…..you abandoned me veronica….

Now don't u dare…… try to ask for another chance to me, because it's all over and just leave from here and don't be back ever….. (With wet eyes)

Veronica:- k Virat…I'll never be back in ur life…but while leaving I still am asking u to forgive me once if u could…..bye!!!!!

And she left running out…..

Virat noticed manvi hiding back in a corner, looking her reflection in mirror….

He came near her….

Virat:- now come out…..we have to leave….no need to hide…..

She was still numb after watching them together and listening their conversation. She quietly followed him. She felt really sad for Virat. They both drove back home without speaking a word with each other. Virat was very angry on veronica, but still he tried to be calm with her as he didn't wanted to tarnish her image in public as now she was a star.

They both reached near their rooms. Virat was about to enter his room, when manvi dared to say him something…

Manvi:- Virat…

Virat: - save ur breathe…. don't say anything…..

Manvi:- how can I be quite…I didn't knew veronica is ur girlfriend and talked ill about her in front of u….why didn't u tell me earlier???

Virat was now damn angry. He was not able to hold his anger any longer…he burst out on manvi…shouting…..

Virat:- telling u!!!!??? who r u know about my personal life…..if by acting like a cousin u think u are the one then get ur senses back…u r FAKE…and I don't own any explanation to u…be in ur limits!!!!

Manvi was very hurt by his words. He once again proved her that he was mean, arrogant and heartless….

Manvi: - I m sorry..Mr. Vadhera….from now on I'll be in limits… (With wet eyes)

Virat felt bad for taking away all his anger on manvi. He thought of saying her sorry but then he thought of saying it tomorrow, leaving her alone for sometime….

Manvi swayed herself on bed and started hitting pillows to let out her anger……

Manvi: - u cheap, mean …..Arrogant….rakshas…khadoos vadhera…I HATE u…..

After cursing him lot she slept……

silpa...i am late again...i have to read from starting...it took a while to complete it...i must say it is a lovely love story...i loved it...virman's first meeting,manvi in virat's house,their deal everything was too good...but i missed reading it first...but better late than never...i read all parts...coming to this part mixture of emotions...virat and veronica's encounter was emotional...i mean i felt bad for virat...and here victim is manvi as always...i m excited to see who will fall for whom first...cos u said someone will fall...and precap...is it a precap even?it is a cliffhanger...i cant wait to read next part now...i know u update fast...but...why did u give a precap like that...to tease me...right...anyway i have to wait for 24 hrs to read it...i hope u update after 24hrs...dont be late...yes i m back in action...i missed commenting on ur posts...thanks for the pms and take care dear...
