I just fail to understand the complexities surrounding relationships! Scolding her for coming late is OK.. Any mother does that.. But wen the child's all alone, being bombarded with questions all around & bearing threatening glances of all others, Will a mother act a bahu or act a mother? Simple question!

even I don't mind her for scolding for coming late..

if you can't support .. just stand still without saying anything .. the girl tries to ;look into your eyes requesting her to trust in dire and protect her, from the family's questions... and all she gets is angry looks and mistrust ... and anger

here a mother was acting AB
