we were predicting of the regular ekta drama where she had a still born baby (as told by her husband or by dadaji ) and hence to forget that still born baby ,.she might have took Viren as her baby and started mothering him

and the crux of it is "klhandaan ki Izzat" LOL

but remember whn she saw Karan in the Mall.. she went to dadaji n said 'wo wapis agyaa'.. she was talking abt her son wasnt she?

ohh was that the original plot .. good lord they lost a good chunk of great characterization of Viren..

that would be splendid to watch as how a husband feels to be 2nd in the list of his wife..

but as you said.. the couples have become popular over night with which they don't want to mess 😕

and more over even in the conceptualizing the show they might have decided to make one couple sweet and perfect . they are so sweet and perfect that them being any bit unlike their characters will ruin the characters - you know they are on a different pedestal of perfection and Adarshness

while the 2nd couple they can take as much liberties as they want ...but they can never make them as Adarsh,..because if they show the second couple as perfect today.. tomorrow if they go back to being the flawed characters.. then people say there are inconsistencies ..

so he flawed remains flawed .. perfect remains perfect in their own grove

Its true that ppl will not accept it... But then it still remains a fact that these too perfect characters cannot be explored and do not leave any room for evolving and remain blunt... And its high time TV shows come up with dark and grey characters... In fact these characters make for an interesting story...

Shocked at the extent the bahu is made ideal these days... In one of the shows the bahu to save her husband from a crime is acting as a maid in her own house and is shown making her husband act as the hubby of the woman whose husband he killed...
And a bahu who cannot stand for her self, aims to be a cop...All these makes for a good laugh...

In this thread we were assuming that , as she saw him from back,.. may be she thinks it to be her husband... rather than son...

and generally woh means someone other than kid..

and most importantly if she knew that he kid was existing ...wouldn't she have thoughts of the baby . if not for flashbacks ...not once have seen her thinking about kid/baby .. she was staring at her mangalsutra and else ...but not one memory of baby 😲

@Munni: They started with the characterisation of Viren during the time when he was shown upset with Jeevs when she could not make it in time for the award ceremony as she was busy cooking for Mannu... And it started out good too... But then they stopped it as soon as it started... They went into the room and when they came out they were all happy again... I was expecting this problem to surface again for a long time but then it never did and so i lost hope and stopped expecting Viren to react...

And then they did not start with Viren as perfect... We did see him react to jeevs before wedding when he came to know of Manan...It would have been good to have carried on by showing him react... My problem with Viren is he does not react the writers do not allow him to react... Its like he is in a inert stage...

That's my problem with him. The writers do not let him react. He was always the quiet storm and that is so intriguing. They had so many chances.
Manan, Problems soon after marriage, when Beeji came to Ch to tell about Maanvi's cancer, once Jeevika found out and was prioritising Maanvi, with him as his award and herself and her health.

The only time they have done it was the accident track.
