if a person feels guilty to save her sister life so whats the value of her sacrifice??

she would not call her act a mistake, never.
but the pain and hurt makes her guilty,
thats why she chooses to punish only herself ,
but unfortunately that wont go without hurting others.
my point is her act is no way selfish

@TM: Yes u said it right..Jeevika is really a great sister… And what she did was really great/Mahaan…But then again as u said tat is what every sister will do for her sibling…. Every one of us here will do that without a second thought just like jeevika did for Maanvi… But does that make us a GOD to our sibling? Though the act of ours was a sacrifice as a mother and a great one at that, but as a sister it becomes our duty and does not make us God…

I don't know if Jeevika is selfish as u have told… But do agree with u that her guilt precedes over her love for her sister too…

And pls read the below written comment considering Jeevika as only a character the writers have developed and not as the actor playing the role.

But other than all those facts u have mentioned what irks me the most is Jeevika coming out being a hypocrite(well not finding a better word, and may edit when I find one and no abusing pls, but feel free to discuss in peace)..

Jeevika wanted maanvi to come out of Maanvi's guilt because Maanvi felt guilty that her life was not worth living or it was equal to death because it was a life that came out of sacrificing the life of a innocent child in the womb, a life that came out of destroying the happiness of a first time parents to be, a life that came out by sacrificing the expectations and happiness of the elders and the whole family and also maanvis own guilt of having a life over the death of a child…

And Jeevika wanted maanvi to not feel guilty of it..She wanted maanvi to think of the families happiness, jeevikas happiness and all things…She wanted maanvi to understand her.. Virat got furious on maanvi for that and Viren beautifully explained maanvi how she should accept it..And Maanvi understood and asked her forgiveness too.. But is Jeevika following what she preached…Why does she not Come out of her guilt.

.I know its not easy to forget the pain so easily.. But with time she may learn to live with it (she may never be able to forget ir) with Virens support… Yes swamini is angry, but then again swamini is angry most of the time… But the way she is trying to do a prayaschit, it comes out like she did not do anything mahaan but did some paap(sin)…Her trying to come out of her guilt by giving sazaa to herself is like she is belittling her own sacrifice…It come out like she is regretting what she did.. Like she does not value what she did.. Does she think of Viren who stood by her in all this, does she think of maanvi, does she think of the family? When she wanted maanvi to think of all those , why does she not think herself? I

If she could ask Maanvi to overcome her guilt and be happy then Jeevika should tyr to follow what she preached and overcome her guilt too..

If she feels she never did a mistake , she shud not do a prayashchit for that too then.. Paap ke liye praayashchit hota hai, punya ke liye nahi...
And if she punishes herself , then again indirectly she is punishing viren and Maanvi..Specially maanvi will start feeling guilty again that her life is due to the death of her sisters happiness and her sisters child, the very thing Jeevika asked maanvi to overcome in the hospital with...

first of all its scripted lolz, 2nd definitely shez human for us, but for manvi, she was, is and will be God always..and yep..not at time.. she is always selfish, ,when she gave manvi a new life, it was not for only manvi, its for Her own sake, her own life she did that

The TM was just talking abt jeevika as the character only...And there is difference being a GOD and God-like... U doing a sacrifice for ur sister like jeevika makes u a GOD?

Lets use same logic 4 maanvi. Getting married immidiately after sister's abortion is also part of selfish act.

I dnt know y u guys take abortion so lightly? As a sister she can do anything bt she was nt killing only her child. She killed the heir of family. Thankfuly family members were supportive otherwise it was like destroying ur own married life to give life to ur sister.

Still she is selfish?

the topic was abt jeevs, why bring maanvi in here... Well anyway its the family and jeevika who wants maanvi to get married...Maanvi herself did not come out with the idea of marrying immediately...
And the TM has not written any comment where she is taking the abortion lightly.. She just put down a fact that though it is a great sacrifice , every sister will do it for her sibling...And that does not belittle abortion...

And also Jeevs being selfish does not relate to sacrifice...

The TM just wants to tell that Jeevs GUILT precedes her Love...She is selfish in tat way...
