People crave for the reality now because thats wat they were offered to see in the show @ the first place. There have been many shows exploring the sister relationship, but y i watched this one is that they did seem real initially. Even Virman, i am in complete awe of them, bcos i cud connect to the love story too well. No Dori, No Falling down, Mast Nokjhoks.. The Virman portrayed was too real for me to believe that they existed in drama & even star plus now boasts of Nayi soch, That means the reality factor IS & SHOULD be there for a drama to click!

the CV's initially gave us too much of reality (like the bald scene fr instance) that the Drama quotient vanished & it became part of daily lives. Thats wen EHM clicked & had the best of numbers.

Without any doubt, i can say the fall in TRP's & the cause of unrest in the forum is nothing but the

sudden Vanishing of the reality doses which the people admired most. I mean, yes the girl should love her di who raised her but that doesnt mean the person who has been with her during the testing times & that too the honewala life partner should stand like a dumb pillar watching Didi do everything & her saying Di all the time. Am not talking about any silly romantic scene, she shud've been shown sharing the fear of losing the life with the man she loves & i dont think that the title refrain the CV's frm doing that.

My personal POV: CVs pls dont inject reality to the initial episodes if u cant carry it off later!

Trying my best not to offend anyone but the TRP audience as you brought up will not give a crap about Virat graciously standing in the background while Manvi does her Di jhaap. It's one scene! Or max two. It bothers online viewers, not the couch potatoes because they aren't attached to a couple like we all are. NOR are they little kids who will giggle and say 'Oh these two should get married to each other and have a SR'.

This show has always been unreal to me. Funnily enough even if Sid M once said it's meant to be over dramatic at times and he gave the example of the diya lighting in the first episode. Having said that, the recent episodes with the abortion showed emotions far more realistically than most shows. It wasn't escapist at all!! Which is probably why it got depressing for the viewers too. They watch TV to escape from their daily miseries.

Well, i do guess i havent offended any of the Jeeman fans in my post & so u shudnt be concerned about the offending part either. We wer havin a discussion on wat went wrong. As far as i know, the TRP audience isnt anymore couch potatoes or little kids. But i differ on ur estimation on the TRP audience. My neighbourhood aunty who's a serial freak, enjoys Virman the most..(&she's 55+ u see)

My mom *looks whether she's around* enjoys romance & comedy the most!! They do watch DABH cos they hv had their share of bitter saas experiences & luv to see it onscreen for the modern way of Bahu tackling by the Saas.

& i do guess that the last part of ur reply was kinda correct. Who wud want to watch a show wher ther's crying all around? OTTness adds to it..! My mom was telling me that she wud've done the same thing if she was in the situation. The baby will come again but not the sister who's the only living memory of the parents. They shud've shown it clean & simple. Except fr the OTT dialogues, it was executed well too. But still, i wud say that the life partner stood like a dumb nurse thru all these & Thats wat caused the unrest u see. No dialogues for the boy just bcos it is a behna show? Hard to accept in the mortal world!

PS: No offence to anyone. Offence belongs purely to the CV's.

But then the fault lies in the CVs for not giving substantial dialogues to the brothers at points but does that come down to blaming the OTTness of the sisters? Lets say alongside her Di jaap, Manvi had also said 'Thank you Virat for always being there for me', would that lessen the bashing of the sisters? If that's the case then its not the sisters fault at all and nor is their OTT love to be blamed because people would not have been bothered if their couple had some substantial dialogues. So if its the case of bashing the sisters due to lack of your favourite couple then that's also unfair.

Secondly, my Dad watches this show now and again and he enjoys it. He has no particular bias towards any couple and he always used to smile during VM scenes too but when the focus shifted TOO much on VM (jul-aug) he said himself 'they've spoilt it' and he's kind of lost interest since then.He's also an example of the TRP audience.

@atthi, fellow HP dude, let's give it a rest. We just can't determine taste of Trp audience ..it's ever changing so r the trps & neither the topic of post concern it. It was just for who question JM relation, which u ain't , so don't bother about it...As for calling it OTT ...TM & us accept that it can be case for some ...the subject matter of post doesn't concern CVs trps or executin matters ...

@lovenishal, Heck Use eyes ( if you hav them ) we do agree it can be OTT for many ...it isn't the subject here
