Treat JM as the villain...but they're not tainted.

Ok fine they're irritating a lot of people. Yes they are unrealistic and completely obsessed with each other. You don't want to see the OTT dialogues and emotions. Objectively speaking, I can understand why it's getting too much for some.

But ever thought to see their relationship from another perspective? This show has no vamp. But does it really need one? The vamp is there to cause conflict and drama, she creates trouble for the people around her. Every show needs a 'conflict' and if we remember Siddharth P Malhotra had said that the conflict of EHM is the sisters extreme love. It's not necessary that we connect to it or love it but we should have a reaction to it and I don't think anyone will disagree with me that the two do create a lot of uproar which is fine because their bond is supposed to be the 'problem' but why question the purity of their relationship? Believe it or not, not every relationship comes down to romance. There are other types of love too. To answer every kind of extreme love with 'Get a room' reminds me of the immature school kids which giggle at the mention of kissing. Think outside the box maybe?

I am not saying one has to accept this kind of love but for the sake of maintaining dignity, at least don't taint their pure relationship. Their love is the problem but it's not polluted. It's a sincere request. Feel free to make indirect remarks about how hypocritical I am but the request is pretty straight forward.

Reemz i had written a post but never actually posted it so I'm gonna post it in your topic. I'm sure you won't mind. Ok guys. After this post you can bash, curse or kill me if you like. Just take a few minutes and read this comment with an open mind.

There has been a lot said after Maanvi comment about Virat from 18th September's episode. Many feel that Maanvi shouldn't have said it and doesn't respect Virat's importance in her life. All she cares about is her sister.

We are all aware it is a show about sisters. Two sisters who are only consumed with themselves they can happily forget others. Yes they have partners and they do value them, but they come first.resulting in their own problems. They love each other to death but can also bring each other down. I agree that they relationship is not normal in any respect. But please can you show me a normal couple on tv. Tv couples are not suppose to be normal. They have to be slightly over the top to actually give a story. If anyone has watched Gilmore Girls then you may know that was a mother daughter realtion that would never happen, yet you still loved it beacuse it wasn't the norm This is not a normal sister relationship, I personally prefer it when my sister leaves me alone. But If they were sisters like that then the story would not be the same.

I know some people were annoyed at maanvi because she was taking jeevikas name whilst waiting for surgery. Would this have been ok, if one was taking their husbands name, wanting to see them before they went in? Not every relation on tv needs to be romantic, and this is only one example.

Reemaji 👏

the very first thing which is strikingly different from the rest of the 100-200 shows which I have watched is lack of Vamp .. I wondered how can a show sustain without Vamp and without Misunderstandings,,,

then read an article in the archives, where SId M , said that their extreme love plays the role of a negative character, he is not wrong.. their love is what makes them stand BY each other, stand FOR each other and stand AGAINST each other, a very beautiful NON-ROMANTIC relation

and now

did someone say "Get a Room" I pity the thoughts of the person, one whoever posted ...

I hate and detest MOCKING of any relation, ANY relation IS NOT MEANT to be MOCKED ...

if people find it hyped, glorified, OTT , skip watching it, ignore the sisters as if they don't exist in the show... but such comments are completely UNCALLED for ...

Ignorance is bliss, which I believe

Its not only irritating but its stopping people from watching the show which was their fav at one point. All thanx to the soo called behna's love! 👏 👏 😡

But ever thought to see their relationship from another perspective? I have tried but didnt work so i completely ignored them...

Yep it would be much better if they had a vamp because we are not really interested in seeing the behna's love as a conflict in EHM, its just utterly boring to watch. 🥱
@Purple- I agree relationships dont come down to romance but these two love is just OTT, realistically this type of sister love never exists real life I love my sisters alot as well but the way JeeMan are portrayed is not called love but its an obsession. This obsession really makes me kindoff sick.
@Blue- Well dear if u looked at JeeMan through VirManians perspective then this is how we exactly feel, what the hell do they need men in their lives if they are soo obsessed with each other. Also they need to control their love for each other cos its just tooo much which sometime makes me sick 😳 😆 This show is nowadays turning marriages and making a joke out of male n female relationships. 😲 🤢

Do u really think it is a pure relationship?

Overall, JeeMan are really very annoying, irritating, unrealistic, too much screen space (even Virika are not being ignored as much as VirMan are- Why is it that they always do this too VirMan?).
Know wonder Sid sir left the show and sold it to the channel and now all the channel interested is JeeMan and now they going to show VirMan's marriage for TRPs and then after all that they'll be back to showing the Behna crap!! 👎🏼
I wonder what the future is for te show becuase at this rate it dont look very good. I seriously think that the CVs need to do something.

I really think now Maanvi needs to stay away from J and think about her future life with Virat.

Well you need to look at the other side too, yes comments like these are sad, but the way their obsession is being shown, its suffocating now dude!!! You can't expect everyone to be mature , this forum has all age groups.. Not Justifying those lines...but you know, this show is supposed to make people fall in love with sisters, but the way they are being potrayed, its actually making people dislike sisters...i mean the general people here, those who used to connect to them, not the haters per se..You can't expect everyone to like unreal stuff..
yes, this show has no villain/vamp per se, its the sisters love that is supposed to play the negative part, but its not playing negative IN the show.. Its playing negative FOR and outside the show now, and its not just cause of lack of virman or virika, JM in themselves are being too much...
I am just gonna paste my comment from the other post for the rest of the explanation, in my opinion.
general audience sadly, doesnt connect with ANYONE the way we online fans do, JM VM VJ or any damn couple..they dont analyse or review scenes and symbolism like we do, they watch, think for max few minutes and move on to next show/other work.. personally even though i am more of VM fan, and never been active in.JM discussions, i used to adore them... which gradually converted to liking and now both J and M make me cringe..
and again, before anyone labels this as a side effect of lack of VM scenes, let me tell you, that its NOT the case with me atleast.lack of VM does sadden me, but its totally separate from overdose thingy. I am not even gonna start over VM.. this is purely JM comment..
and to be honest, CVs are clearly over doing it to an extent that it has started to look fake and annoying now..Seriously,this is no hate comment, and m not saying it out of frustration reg my favs.. I have never disrespected JM, even now comments like their marriage make me feel bad.. (though, wont lie they annoyed me so much yesterday, that i also made one, though it was pure frustration and dint mean it) but honestly, without any bias, this obsession has become repelling now.. You believe the USP of this show is sisters right! Yes, and sadly the same USP is driving away.. Instead of felling their situation and connecting to them, this obsession is irritating.. No daughter keeps on saying mumma mumma the way M keeps chanting di(NO I am not saying she should chant Viraat all the time instead, but a balance of everything?) Why couldn't BG sign the consent.. If J is M's mom, BG is J's mom ..she raised BOTH of them up.. Why can't chachu do it.. Aborting for sister is still real and understandable but this daily dose of obsession unnecessarily, This is unreal..in your face types... just coz its a behna show ?? Believe me, I say this with an unbiased mind...
And again, before you come up with your usual male-female female-female dialogue, let me explain my point that even male-female relation shown with such an obsession suffocates , instead of moving you... Instead of moving a general viewer... I dont watch that show, but Arnav Khushi also, I am sure dont do this way, or for that matter any lead couple... Its plain OTT and pure overdose..I for one believe that their love wont reduce if they tone down their OTTness and in your face obsession ... Love in actions is stronger... Repeated proclamation with same dialogues gets on nerves sadly, and makes one loose the connect..
I am a die hard VM fan..real die-hard, and to avoid confusions, I have absolutely NO hatred for any character, not even SB.. But when they were showing repetitive VM scenes devar-bhabhi scenes with almost similar meaning dialogues, even that had started to become boring and here, toh its clearly 10X...
and yes, one more thing I DO NOT believe that ONLY a particular couple brings TRPs, not VM, not JM, Not VJ..

It's funny you mention Gilmore Girls (LOVED that show!!!) because for quite some time, Manvi has been reminding me of Lorelei (Lauren Graham's character) with her rapid-fire dialogue delivery and zest for life!

Exactly Reemz...There r like hundreds of genres & this one Is different, that doesnt mean ppl should go around with such remarks . & at the end of day it's a serial na Meant to pass ur half hour nicely...

Choice is simple peeps...U like it, watch it !!!
U can't connect/Don't like it...DONT watch, why waste ur half hour on TV & rest on IF...right

@sabeeha, dw mate, come along with ur views. U do make ppk think dude, would love to read you

@pj, nicely said dude, although I didnt watch glimore Girls I think I got the point. Exactly they aren't realistic but that's what make us watch TV shows right & they aren't the first Unrealistic Thing happened to Indian TV for sure. & however ppl dont want to accept it But that dialogue was just a tease, she was smirking at Virat & basically it was just a payback for calling her Drama Queen Earlier...

@Samilicious94, Yes it's unrealistic & that why we watch it...Aint TV shows meant to show unrealistic things, & if it's case Even love relations Of on TV r unrealistic , ppl r somewhat more realistic about their relations In real life..
Again U say it's utterly boring to watch, Then DON't watch, save ur time. & if thoughts r sick , you dont need behnas to make you sick...

& sorry Turning Marraiges & joke of relation ? Didnt got ur point
& yes As Pure As It Can Be...Doubts ??
