She did not insult Viraat, rather than I would say that she is so comfortable with him that she can do some legit masti with him!! Since she is in love with him, do you expect her to go all shy and coy and call him "Ae ji, o ji, suniye ji" and stuffs?? VirMaan's relationship is like this only, they love each other, fight with each other, cry in each other's sorrows! Too much sweetness spoil a relationship, you need spice too!!

With all due respect no one here is NUTS.The much you like or love VirMan so as everyone here.We loved the knowing the soul & depth of their relation more then creatives know even I guess.

But Just bcuz you are comfortable with some one and Love someone a lot you cant take ANY one for granted and compare HIS existence with some one else 1000 times less important. It was not expected even from Maanvi who loves her Virat a lot same time respect him.Even if It was JOKE and again that was in front of family as such.😕

None want Aji and oji b/w them or expect that even So as NOT this.Their relation is much deeper so as their Nok joke Which has sense and point .This one liner had no point.I dint get Why the comparison dialogue came at this point even with sister and Virat !

Madhu ji.. I can understand the frustration..Firstly, cool..😊
Well acc. to me, the dialogue was not hurting, not mocking, IT WAS PLAINLY UNNECESARRY!!! Am not undermining the fact that this is defo a behna show but i still repeat my old mantra.. Behnashow doesnt mean each & every dialogue should glorify the behna's. Their relation is definitly pure & soulful & IMO, Aap par hazaron virat kurban was not needed to make us understand the depth of the relationship!!

In today's episode, we see how Viraat and Maanvi were back to their usual nok jhok and having their cute fights. Again, a few were upset that she told Jeevika aapke liye toh hazaar Viraat kurbaan. See, how much ever people may not like it, we've got to understand that the show is Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri BEHNA Hai. Not Ek Hazaaron Mein Mera Partner Hai. The main focus shall ALWAYS be on Jeevika-Maanvi's relationship. And while Jeevika may have not said it out loud, it is pretty evident that she would ALSO sacrifice her love for her sister. For Pete's sake, she sacrificed her BABY for Maanvi. Her baby is a symbol of her love for her husband. And she let that go to save her sister. And then we say Jeevika hasn't said anything of the sort? Somethings are to be understood, not said.

Lastly, if everyone is accusing Maanvi of disrespecting Viraat now, why didn't these accusations/allegations pop up earlier? During her roka, when Viraat fooled around, asking Maanvi to call him ViraatJee, she retaliated by saying jee bulaaye meri joo-. No one said anything about that. That was pretty humiliating as well! During the VirMaan phone call right before the roka, Maanvi is like tum mere husband banne waale ho, matlab main has has ke tumhaari baand bajaaongi. That was pretty disrespectful as well! No one said anything to that! Heck, during her engagement, she refused to get officially engaged till Viraat didn't do anything special for her. And she said this in front of a HUGE party. How utterly humiliating it must have been? Why didn't we see this outcry for Viraat's self respect back then?

well i have an answer for that question ...that time she was not comparing virat with her di for gods sake...in both the situations you mentioned, she dint tell him with respect to her di...thats y we dint find problem with it..arey wo sab tho chodo ,we dint tell anything when the donor called her her partner or something and manvi was playfully reacting to it...

and okay if the focus has to be on behnas ,that doesn mean you make her deliver such dialogues...

I'm not a regular here, but I just had to pen down a few of my thoughts. I'm hoping that this is NOT taken in a negative light.

I've noticed how a few people are unhappy with the way Maanvi has been behaving with Viraat fot the past few days. All I'm gonna try and do is defend Maanvi and think from her PoV in that particular situation.

On Friday and Monday, we saw Maanvi wanting Jeevika around her at all times, and hyperventilating cause she wasn't there. Think about this from her PoV. We know that Maanvi considers Jeevika her mother. BMT is a HUGE operation. Before any major thing in life, we take God's name, and then we remember our parents, or to be specific, our MOMS. She's going for such an important operation, so its natural that she wants her di/maa beside her. Its natural that she wants to see her at least once before she goes in. She never said anything about wanting Viraat by her at that point of time. Reason? He was THERE! If you noticed closely, she did question him as to where was he going when he went to find VirIka right before the operation. So she did want him around her too. Before entering the OT, she hugged Jeevika and she held Viraat's hand tightly. She ONLY acknowledged Viraat and Jeevika. Doesn't that show the importance of these two people in Maanvi's life? On awakening, she wanted to see her Di. But the moment she saw her di and then the rest of the people, her eyes sought out Viraat. When he wasn't there, she asked for him. Doesn't that count?

In today's episode, we see how Viraat and Maanvi were back to their usual nok jhok and having their cute fights. Again, a few were upset that she told Jeevika aapke liye toh hazaar Viraat kurbaan. We have to understand the dynamics of the foursome here. The Vadhera brothers know that for their partners, their sisters will ALWAYS come first. Viren has said this a couple of times to Jeevika as well. The story is about the sisters and their immense love for each other. Everything else is secondary to the two of them, be it their kid or their partner.

I hope you don't take my post in a negative light. I'm just trying to put Maanvi's perspective out here. Lets not bash any characters out here. I'm sure cancelling the impending wedding is NOT what anyone wants here.

Peace!

Thanks for letting out your views. That was nicely written :) I do agree with first half of your comment. Regarding Manvi searching for her di before and after her BMT transplant. Of course, Jeevika is like her mother and of course this show is about behenas.

About all the other dialogues you mentioned here, seriously I dint feel it offensive or humiliating a bit. But Virat telling Manvi to call him ae ji, I dint like it. Because it was not in Virat's character to say so but brushed it off since it was to tease Manvi. But about today's dialogue, I just watched the scene. It was clearly not to tease Virat though she gave a smile to Virat at the end. Rather, it was insulting(atleast in my opinion) and was to justify the title that Jeevika is truly an ek hazaaron wali behna. Well I have no problems with that. My only question is, why are they butchering one realtionship to glorify another?? It has always happened in EHM. In Mumbai track, JeeMan was butchered for VirMan and now vice versa. Why cant they handle more than one relationship at a time??

Your comment was not taken in a negative light. Peace.

So basically the outrage is because Viraat was compared to Jeevika? But there has never been any comparison between Viraat and Jeevika, cause she's obviously way more important, and same goes for the VirIka-Maanvi relationship! The Vadhera brothers know, and have accepted that they will always be secondary to their partners, because its always the sisters who come first for them before anyone else. See, from what I perceived, many are upset with the way Maanvi is humiliating Viraat, and I highlighted scenes where she's humiliated him in worse ways. Please correct me if I'm wrong, cause I'm sorry, but your first point seemed rather unclear to me.

And if the focus was on the Behenas and we didn't want such dialogues to be delivered, then in a strange yet twisted way, Jeevika shouldn't have sacrificed her baby for Maanvi, cause her baby is a symbol of her love for her husband. Isn't that worse? Sacrificing your pyaar ki nishaani for your sister? Words might hurt, but people will forgive. What about lives that are lost?

This brings me back to my edit. Viraat-Maanvi are at a stage in their relationship where they understand each other fully, and such things seem rather trivial to them anymore.

Why are we focusing on such stuff? Why can't we look at the bright side? Maanvi is cured, and she wants to go straight to the mandap from the hospital!

Lol peacemaker. You are sooo sweet to forgive Manvi, but sorry I cannot, atleast now😆 All these frustrations are just to let CVs know the fact that they dont have to give step-motherly treatment to one relationship to glorify the otherđŸ„±
