At the Vadera mansion, Godhbhara planning was in full swing. The ladies in the house decided they would make it an only female ceremony.

Everybody was in the living room discussing the function.

Kadambari- "Manvi you should thank me for making this an only ladies function otherwise Virat would not let you enjoy."

Manvi could not her believe her ears. It was an only female function!! Now this brightened up her day. No Virat for an entire day meant so much fun and FOOD. No Virat to tell her what to eat and what not to.

While Manvi was busy making plans, Virat was busy looking at her. Virat had a small smile and this surprised everyone.

Viren- "Wow Virat. This is something new. You will not be with Manvi for the entire day and yet you are smiling? Are you alright bhai?"

Virat gave a smug smile and shifted closer to Manvi. He put his arms around her which made Manvi blush and everyone else "aww" at them. Virat answered, "Bhai if you think I am going to stay away from the function and leave Manvi with those crazy aunties then you are crazy. I am not opposing any of your plans for only "ladies" function because I don't care. I will be there and no one can stop me."

Everybody stared at Virat. Vanshika kept wondering if she'd ever dropped him when he was kid. Just then Viren asked Vanshika, "Ma did you drop Virat on his head when he was kid? I think it is about time we take him to a doctor."

Vanshika laughed at this as she too was thinking the same and soon the entire Vadhera family was roaring with laughter except for Kadambari and Manvi; Kadambari's plan for an all ladies function fell through and Manvi's plan to enjoy freedom for a day too got ruined.

Godbharai

Manvi was in her room getting ready while Virat sat on the bed watching her. Manvi could see Virat gazing at her through the mirror.

Manvi- "Virat what are you looking at?" Manvi quickly checked her saree and fixed her dupatta. "Is something wrong with my saree? Wait it is my makeup, isn't it? I look so fat!" Manvi pouted and babbled on.

Virat got up from the bed and moved towards her. He held her by the shoulder and lifted her chin up. "Manvi what nonsense are you talking? You look like an angel, my angel. I just can't take my eyes off of you."

Manvi hugged Virat for the sweet compliment and he too hugged her back. He then placed his hand on her stomach and said, "Hey baby daddy can't wait to hold you in his arms. Two more months baby and you will be with mommy and daddy."

Hearing this Manvi smiled and gave Virat a peck on the cheek.

"Manvi you are in a romantic mood today?" asked Virat teasingly.

Manvi elbowed him and pushed him away, "Virat! You start anywhere don't you? Now lets go everyone is probably waiting for us."

Virat grabbed Manvi's hands and said, "Lets Mrs Vadhera and junior Vadhera."

Soon the ceremony started and all the rituals were performed. The men of the house got bored watching the rituals and listening to the pundit so they went to the garden area to have a little party of their own. Virat on the other hand did not leave Manvi's side even for a minute. He stood next to her like a shadow, never leaving her side.

"Virat aren't you bored? Why don't you go outside and enjoy with jiju and chachu?" Manvi whispered.

Virat looked at her lovingly and said, "Bored? Me? When I'm sitting next to a drama queen? Please Manvi you are an entertainment package who can be bored when you are around?"

Manvi glared at Virat and was about to retort when a huge aunty, one of the distant relatives, came towards Manvi.

"Manvi!!!!!!! You look gorgeous!! CONGRATS." Screamed the aunty.

With the help of Virat, Manvi slowly got up from her seat to welcome the loud aunty.

The aunty came running towards Manvi to hug her and this scared both Manvi and Virat. Before the aunty could knock Manvi down with her hug Virat stepped in between the aunty and Manvi and hugged the aunty.

The aunty didn't let Virat go and hugged him for almost a minute. Making a face Virat pulled away and said, "Aunty be careful. You can't hug Manvi the way you just hugged me, you will suffocate her and my baby."

Aunty pinched Virat's cheeks and said, "Aww handsome boy, you love your wife so much." The aunty did not leave him and kept pinching both of his cheeks, and also complimented him.

Manvi stifled her laughter at this scene. Virat was clearly annoyed and his cheeks were now red because of all the pinching. Vanshika too laughed at the scene. As soon as she'd seen the lady run to hug Manvi she'd known that Virat would step in and boy was she right.

Vanshika decided to help her son out who was by now fuming with anger. So Vanshika made an excuse and took the lady away.

As soon as the aunty left Virat started rubbing his cheeks while Manvi started cracking up. To cheer Virat up she caressed his cheeks and clearly happy with her gesture Virat pulled her closer to him.

Right then entered Tanya with an unknown woman. Manvi moved away from Virat and pointing to Tanya's direction said, "Look Virat, your friend is here."

Virat looked at the direction Manvi was pointing and to his horror, there was Tanya and next to her was wait, it couldn't be Maya, his ex-girlfriend!

I wrote this part in 20 minutes- it is full of mistakes, bad grammar, bad sentence structure. Sadly I don't have time to go over it or edit it. I'm in the library right now working on my project, tired because I just got back from running 7 miles and my friends are asking me to get off my laptop and finish the project. So I gtg. No PMs today.
