"Okay I will keep quiet love. Now tell me what is going on." Virat knew Manvi was upto something and he was getting impatient.

"Nothing is going on Virat. Here talk to someone." Saying this Manvi signaled Tanya to start talking.

Tanya had no idea how to handle this situation. Virat was madly in love with his wife and Tanya had no clue how to separate the two. After listening to Virat talk on the phone, Tanya could not control her anger. She felt miserable, why could Virat not love her!? Why did he have to love this oversmart Manvi?

Right then to Tanya's horror Manvi brought the phone closer to Tanya and prodded her to talk to Virat. What would she say to Virat? They had no contact for the past few years and deep in her heart she knew that Virat was never fond of her not even in college. She had exaggerated to make Manvi jealous but now the plan backfired on her.

Trying to sound convincing Tanya spoke- "Virat, Tanya here. Guess what I just ran into Manvi here at the mall."

This was the last thing Virat had expected. Tanya at the mall that too with Manvi! At the moment all Virat managed to say was- "Hey Tanya!"

Tanya had to prove Manvi that she was close to Virat so she continued- "by the way Virat it has been so long since we hung out. Remember college days? Those were the most memorable days of my life. Listen Virat, there is a get together next week at 10pm, and everybody will be there too."

Manvi noticed Tanya trying too hard so she eagerly waited for Virat's answer.

After listening to Tanya Virat could not suppress his grin. Tanya always did this; acted like they were best of friends. Virat did not want to offend Tanya but he wanted to get his point across too so he politely answered- "Thank you so much for the invite Tanya, I would love to."

Tanya looked at Manvi and gave her an evil grin.

Just then Virat continued- "but I am sorry I can't. You met Manvi so you probably can see that she is heavily pregnant. There is no way I will take her out so late."

Tanya's grin immediately turned to a glare. She had not even invited Manvi yet! Why would Virat want to bring his pregnant wife to their college reunion party? Tanya wanted to convince Virat so she quickly answered- "Oh Virat I have already talked with Manvi about this. Manvi is fine with missing the party, infact she wants you to enjoy and meet your friends."

I NEVER said that thought Manvi. Chep I tried my best to save you from this psychopath but now the ball is in your court, so good luck. Manvi smiled to herself because she knew what Virat would say. The overprotective fool will never leave me alone and go for a party. Haha tough luck Tanya.

Like Manvi had assumed Virat said, "What LEAVE MANVI ALONE!! NO WAY Tanya. Listen Tanya I can't come. I can't leave Manvi alone, yeah I know my entire family will be home with her but if I don't see her with my own eyes I won't be able to enjoy anything. Trust me Tanya you can ask bhabhi or anyone this, I will be no fun at the party. If Manvi is not there with me all I will do is worry about her. Leaving Manvi alone at home is not an option."

What was wrong with Virat? Tanya could not believe what she just heard. Was this the same guy from college that never stood up for Maya and always left her to take care of herself. Tanya had never doubted Virat's feelings for Maya but she had never seen this side of Virat. Though Virat and Maya were dating, Virat was never the possessive or protective one. He was the laid back, chilled out kind. Tanya realized that Virat was never in love with Maya, it was just an infatuation. This was love, Virat loved Manvi. Tanya decided she would have to do something quick otherwise she would lose Virat forever.

Before Tanya could say anything Virat quickly added- "Umm Tanya can you hand over the phone to Manvi?" Virat had no idea that the phone was on speaker.

Manvi wanted to show Tanya that Virat was hers, just hers. So without bothering to switch off the speaker mode Manvi answered- "Virat? Okay I'll talk to you later."

"Manvi listen. I am done with work. I will come pick you up. I should be there in about 15 minutes so please sit down. Oh god have you been standing all day? And where are bhabhi and ma? Don't tell me they left you alone."

Yes chep was back in his crazy mode.

"Virat, calm down. Ma and bhabhi are on their way. I am at a caf right now and di just texted me. She should be here any minute. I am sitting down right now so relax. I am fine, okay?

Virat grabbed his car keys and started walking towards the door. "What caf are you in?"

Manvi- "The one right by Victoria's Secret, umm Caf Caribe"

"Okay just stay in there I will be there soon." Virat was now in the elevator.

Manvi-"But Virat I am not done shopping! I.."

"Love that is fine, once I get there I will take you but till then don't move. You have no idea how worried I have been. I am never sending you out alone again. It is just not worth it." Virat babbled on just to waste time so that Manvi would sit in the caf. He had been worried all day for her- thinking about things that could go wrong in the mall.

"Okay fine. Come soon. Bye." As much as Manvi loved this attention from her husband especially infront of Tanya but she was still annoyed.

Virat could hear the irritation in her voice. "Love I am sorry. I know I am acting crazy, but humor me please. I'll be there soon. Bye and love you babe."

Manvi just smiled and hung up.

Tanya witnessed all this. She wanted to scream, cry, hit Manvi and her unborn child. She was boiling with anger and she was full of hate for both Manvi and her child. What made it worse was that Virat was head over heels in love with Manvi and Tanya could not take it.

Tanya got up abruptly from her seat. "okay Manvi I have to leave now. It is getting late." Without waiting for a reply form Manvi Tanya left.

Thank you to those who have been constantly commenting. Without your support I would have never continued. I will need sometime to come up with a new idea.

For now I have Manvi's godbharai (don't know how to spell it) on my mind. I will have to do some research though; the only thing I know about godbharai is that it is done when a woman is 7 months pregnant. If anybody can give me more info on this I would appreciate it.

It is Saturday night here so basically PARTY NIGHT!!!! I'm off with friends now but I will have my phone on me so I will see it as soon as you comment.
