Maanvi loves Virat. But she doesnt tell it to him because she has cancer and keeps her love a secret.

Is she justified?

In a way she is because she knows she can give him nothing except sadness and misery since her life is uncertain.

But then, if the role was reversed, would she have left Virat if he had cancer. If she wont, how can she expect anything less from him? Is she not insulting his love?

It is a difficult to answer if Maanvi's decision is correct. Even if the end of their relationship is near, would it not be better to be happy together, for however brief it may be than to be miserable. Love may come in to Virat's life a second time, but first love always remains your first love. He may never achieve the comfort or understanding he had with Maanvi.

This is a tricky one but I wouldn't go as far as to say that Maanvi is insulting Virat's love as she is going away from him as she loves him.She does not want him to be left reeling in pain if...God forbid if there is no tomorrow for her, as her ilness comes with no guarantees.Where in the other hand Virat's just wants to be with her,for her and give her love and recieve love back even it is for a short while. He would much rather if worst comes to worst live with her cherishable memories and keep loving her till the end of time.I know that this strength and determination in his love will give Maanvi the strength to also love him back without fear of what tomorrow holds in store for them.

Actually there is this old hindi movie from the 70's. "Mili" starring Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri (Bachchan). Mili too has leukemia. Amitabh doesn't know about it. There Mili and Amitabh (I forget his character name) both accept each other with cancer and impending death and even get married.

As Amitabh and Jaya start falling in love, Jaya doesn't stop herself from enjoying his affection. She reciprocates it very well. We can see their happiness, until Mili starts falling so sick that she can no longer visit him. Amitabh gets impatient and ventures to find out what may have happened to her. Her family doesn't allow him to meet her understanding his love for her. Amitabh in anger somehow elicits what bothers them...the fact that they cannot let the young man fall in love with a dying girl. And here when Amitabh gets to know that Mili has cancer, he doesn't waste any time in asking her father the permission to marry her.

jaya not even once says no. She is sad for everyone around her but at the same time feels so much love for Amitabh and seeing what she means to him, just lets Amitabh decide everything for her.

Its such a beautiful story.
