Why did Virat go back on his own words??

As per the new promo, Virat has declared his love to Manvi in front of family members. So my question is , this is the same Virat who had decided to hold back himself from confessing because he dint want Manvi to distance herself from him and also he dint want to give her the unneccesary stress. So why did he go back on his own words.?

Was that just his flurry of emotions that got out of control or was it he already knew or got an hint that Manvi too is secretly in love with him???

P.S : VirMan fans(I m one too lol) please dont pounce on me. I know how we have been eagerly waiting for the confession to happen and it finaly happened so i m happy too !! Just wanted to know all your opinions abt this..

[Edit]-Ok guys i made this post before watching yesterday's episode. I was just talking about the promo. I feel that the promo was misleading. I mean, it was as if Virat knew Manvi was there since he looked back at her when he said i love Manvi.

But after seeing the episode, it was very much clear. I take back my words. VIRAT DID NOT GO BACK ON HIS WORDS. He dint know Manvi was there. Its just that the promo was kind of misleading.

may be out of emotions he poured out he cant say as a friend i shaved my head it wud have been unbelievable may be out of option he said as he himself never thoguht he will shave his head it was unexpected so is the confession...

i thought about the same thing and don't worry, im a huge virman fan too but i also like logic and consistency lol and this, albeit, is definitely inconsistent with his feelings from before...I'd like to think that emotions got a hold of him in that instant and he just confessed...i would have loved to have a more private confession though, but lets see...still excited either way!

I definitely think, he confessed in the heat of the moment! DJ seems to be grilling him, and he ends up bursting😆..A lot has been happpening and he heard how M thinks she is ugly now per friday's episode, so am guessing he felt the need to assure her that, he loves her regardless of what has happened. And as rightly pointed out by rainbow, it was also his way of telling Vadhera's that he did what he did, on his own accord.

i was thinking the same lol he poured all his emotion becoz he was enable to hide them as he know what they all were and can think so to clear a small mess he created a huge or should say biggest mess himself

He didn't want to confess to Maanvi, because of her situation.

Which is technically didn't do as he didn't know she was standing there. His admission was to the family not to Maanvi herself. With everything that was to him, if he didn't admit it then it would have seemed as if he was hiding something.
