Resham: I get wat u're saying that it was the FIRST time J dwas watching M go through that painful treatment. But i STILL stand by my point...it didn't work for me. Yes, she was taken out kinda forcibly by Seema...but even then, Manvi needed HER! Your feet girl...stand as long as you want to😆LOL sorry for that lame line, but u get what I am saying, right?? 😳
Like i said, this post was mainly on my personal experiences n wat i've witnessed. I don't wanna quote examples here...so, am not going there...but, I strongly feel...Jeevika should've resisted more, strongly. And chalo, if she went...she could've go n stand watching from the glass hole. I dunno, man...i guess, the problem lies wid me...this track is very sensitive..n maybe, i'm trying to find a REAL treatment of it. But well...i suck for realistic issues n hadling of tracks...that's prolly why my pov is mostly different from the rest.
One more thing! I want an EMOTIONAL follow up of this b/w the sisters...n this time Jeevika HAS to rise to the occassion.Oh...there absolutely has to be a follow-up. In fact, before a Bhena scene...I want a solo Jeevika scene. What happened after she left the OT??? Her exact thoughts...I wanna know them.
1. I suppose in their defence they didn't know what was going to happen that day. Relating it to real life sometimes one can over worry with regards to what will happen and amensia does work wonders!!!
2. Virat wasn't told what was happening either - just that everything will depend on how paitents body responds to any new medication. Seriously cannot believe that you would go for an initial appointment and are presented with biopsy and lumber puncture (which is what it looked liked defo not chemo). I always thought biopsy is for initial diagnosis and why havent they looked at the results from the last two sessions yet.
This is drama so I know sab kuch chalta hai so although both of these procedures can be painful but defo not to the extreme that they showed!
3. one would think doctor would need to explain what it is etc in a privacy of room not in a reception area. Maanvi is 22 why would Jeevika need to sign the consent form. Sometimes I know its easier for drs to say that its quite normal just sign but as you say delivery of it can be so different. I know our neuro surgeon explained in details all the negative effect but then gently said that Mrs S you actually don't have any choice we have to go in to take that giant tumour out of your child brain!!! (where is their research)
4. Pain to me is painted in different forms so can live with this. I think she did do her best!
5. I also feel that J should have been with her!! – all her talks re pain need to go through me first etc comes across as a very maturish but I do feel that we have had from J is talk no action. She is considered as M's mother – what mother would leave their child to go through all that alone!
Whilst on this subject – the show always portrays J as very mature helping M when she gets into trouble but I feel that M is way more mature than J and so far time and again proved that she understands and has balanced view and is not swayed by the norms of what is expected
Lastly –
So true, I have been through all of this myself and can totally say that they havent got anything right on cancer track from the sessions to the side effects – rest I suppose its down to indian ficitonal drama. I am so glad that I only watch this and nothing else. Would do nothing for my blood pressure!

First of all, have to choose a nice color. Who started this trend, btw? R, F or L...Plz don't say "A" 😉😆 Sub toh khud use kiye hain, Loveleen...which one should "I" use?? Am using *pinky chachi style* RAAID (read Red) 😆Edited: Ayesha You watched the episode, wah wah kya baat hai, par you know what meri gut feeling keh rahi thi that you will pakka watch the epi. And if you watched the epi toh post kiye bina toh reh nahi sakti tum, itna toh pata tha mujhe😆. Major, see that is why we ask you to make posts, I never saw any major things you saw, I think that if someone else shows you a different angle of the same thing you might see it differently in a more positive or negative way. Glad that you didn't say you were disappointed😊, but am sad that you weren't satisfied, cuz that means that somethings was pakka missing. Yes it sure was a reasonable episode after a long time, so it didn't leave the chance to be disappointed, because no matter how bad it was, it was deffo better than what we have been seeing for the past few weeks.Kya kehney apki gut feeling ke, janaab! Yes...i had to watch the epi. It's just that, i was a bit scared to watch..n u know the reason. But tbh, the impact that i was expecting...it don't move me to that extent!Hahaha...u know that i'm a hopeless case...so, post toh banta hi tha, boss. Yep, very true...it was a decent epi...but sadly, had its flaws!Ayesha hume mithai baatni chahiye, pehli baar koi aise baat hui hai jis ki waja cvs nahin hai😲🤣 But yeah for fan groups a happy day, but people who watch the show for story probably weren't as satisfied.Mithai chodo..i want chocolates...so, i'll bantofy them only. Jo bach gayein...woh meri 😉😆This is one thing that made me say that there is hope for these cvs, Manvi's treatment and that was the most important thing in the storyline right now. Finally we got to see something that we all were waiting to see. After all the drama, and masti, the cvs showed us what a cancer patient actually goes through. I really don't know much about cancer and the treatment but I know one thing that it is a very serious illness and must be handled with lots of care. It has lots of side effects, the patient goes through alot of pain, and inner turmoil while the treatment occurs and what we were seeing in the show was not at all what is reality. I have seen a few of my relatives go through this life threatening disease and I have seen how they and their families were broken. All I want from this cancer track is that people who are fighting this in reality gain courage and hope from this show not disappointment.EXACTLY! You said, Loveleen. It IS a very sensitive issue n CVs actually play wid ppl's emotions but this casual handling. You remember the epi when they mentioned abt Yuvraj Singh? No one liked that...in fact, there were many posts on the forum disliking this inclusion.Ayesha how can you upset anyone, you are too sweet and always present your points in a dignified and polite manner. Ab agar jootis and chappals come your way, I am standing right in front of you as a shield of protection😉😊.Awww!! You are sooo sweet, Loveleen! 🤗 But wait...we practically have around 9 hrs time difference. What if the chappals come when u're sleeping? 😉😆You sound like a scientist and lawyer combined yaar, I am ready bring it on Ayesha's logic 😆I come from a family of lawyers, dude! My parents calls me a lawyer without a degree...coz i can go on with my blabberings n arguments. 😳😆I really kind of ignored the first scene. I think it was to conclude yesterday's episode, but it was too rushed or they should have shown it in yesterday's episode itself because the impact that today's episode would have left was lessened by the first scene as it kind of shattered all hopes of a good episode. I think it would have been okay if Jeevika would have been more concerned about the appointment rather than Manvi's apology. The first scene just didn't connect with the rest of the episode, because the rest was very tension filled while this scene was very bindaas types. Seema is better than Virat's other friends but she seems like some screw dheela type.Chalo...ab Seema ka screw dheela ho gya 🤣 Hadh hai yaar 🤣But yes...agree wid u...the first scene was quite out of place. Also, there was no need to show that Rohan guy. Sub kuch ek hi epi main daal diya. 😡I also thought that there would first be a scheduled appointment to just talk with the doctor about their concerns and details about the different procedures because the other day was a rushed convo, as the doc had to do a surgery. I am upset that nothing was told in detail about the treatment to anyone. I think the patient needs to be made aware about the process so that he/she is completely prepared for the treatment. And here they know nothing about anything. Logically the doctor would like you said give them material to research about the procedure and other stuff so that they are satisfied that the process is indeed safe or just to give them a heads up about everything that would happen during the treatment. Many times people research stuff and they find something that the doctor hasn't told them and they consult the doctor to see if that information could be helpful or a better option in their case. Exactly the Mumbai darshan was way more important than the emotional scenes.Resham said that iss point ko jaaney bhi do yaaro. 😆 But seriously, this was quite weird. Seema announced the whole process, standing in the corridor...n with that stupid grin pastered on her face. Where was Dr. Bharadwaj...what happened to the appointment? Ok..fine...he din;t tell them the details on the first quick sitting they had...but at least, he should've told them abt this whole process in his room...hadh hai yaar in doctors ki bhi 😆I was really frustrated with Seema in this whole episode. She was very odd, just plain creepy I should say. I mean she didn't even explain what this consent was for but told Jeevika that she needed to sign it. 😕 When she was telling Manvi about the chemo session it seemed to me that she was trying to frighten her. She didn't assure Manvi that she will be able to go through the chemo session instead it looked as if she was trying to scare them. She said it was a formality, well I know they didn't have a choice but still they should know all the details regarding the treatment shouldn't they?Seema just seemed like a negative character to me today.I din't find her negative...i found her quite weird. She was behaving very un-doctor like...not at all professional. And that bit in the end, where she says abt Virat...all i can say/do is...*head desk*I think the reason why we couldn't really connect with Jeevika was because we have seen KD give amazing performances and we expect her to give those types of performances every day. I didn't like her widening eyes bit, but I actually could feel her pain in the OT. When she looked away, because it was getting unbearable I could actually feel that. In fact I wasn't able to look straight at the screen after they went into the OT. I think she was confused, as to why she couldn't help her sister today. She felt helpless, because all those promises she had made were left unfulfilled. She felt guilty that broken all her promises even though she didn't want to. Yes there could have been more, but what was there was enough for me. One thing that kind of bothered me, IDK why, was Manvi when Jeevika was signing the consent form. It felt like Manvi was shocked that her sister let her bear that pain. To me it seemed as if Manvi couldn't believe her sister's actions. 😕@ Bold: I din't notice this, yaar... n no one else has mentioned this also. So, will have to check again. But i think...it wasn't the case. Can't say for sure.Well...like i said...something was amiss there for me. I wanted MORE from Jeevika...her pain...her feelings...all being expressed more intensely. But its my pov...i'm glad that MOST of the ppl liked her. 😊 Its not that i hated her or anything...its just that, i found her lacking in some aspects. Her pain n reaction didn't move me.I actually wanted Jeevika to stay there too, kya karen yeh dil mange more. 😆 As a mother she should have stayed, and she never got up to leave, Seema took her out because the doctor would not want someone weakening the patient. I didn't like the fact that Jeevika really didn't do anything to help Manvi, she just stood there looking away as she couldn't see her Mannu in pain. This was the time Jeevika was supposed to come out strong and continue telling Manvi that it is okay. Distract her, do anything, hold her hand, but I was disappointed that she didn't do anything. The VirMan scene was beautifully presented, and it touched me, but the Seema dialogue ruined that moment. As Ek hazaron mein waali behnas, Jeevika should have been there instead of Virat. Jeevika leaving and Virat coming in her place just showed that when Jeevika leaves Manvi, Virat will be there for her which is good, but Jeevika is not supposed to leave Manvi.Glad that u also felt the same. Most of the people didn't...but it is MY personal experience. In times like these, even the weakest of ppl get strenght...and Jeevika IS a strong girl. Anyway...each to its own. I just wrote what i felt 😃Ayesha, I am also sure that many will say that but my grandma always says that these shows are, at the end of the day, based off of real life. They have used real life scenarios to make these storylines. This story isn't real, the characters aren't real, this is drama, but cancer is indeed real and it is no joke. By making cancer look like a joke, the CVs are making a mockery of all those people's lives who are living this "JOKE". The pain that Manvi went through today is only a trailer of what cancer patients go through for long periods of time. If that pain that lasted less than thirty minutes hurt you, then think about those days, months, even years that these people bear pain, how much will that hurt?BINGO! You ended ur post on a perfect note. So, am not adding anything to it.Wah Wah, yeh le apna homework, reply karna jaldi and I made the post colorful.😊Homework done, Ma'm. Thanks for ur lovely comments, lovely lovely Loveleen ji 😃
3. Seema's description of this test..n the way she smiling, talking casually...it was quite out of character for a doc! A certain level of seriousness, coupled with softness n concern was needed there. But what came out was like...Seema grinning n saying.."dude...sign this paper...coz though there are very less chances, still anything can happen". Did anyone else also find Seema's behavior weird here??
I agreee! LOL, love the way you put it!The worst bit for me was when at the end of it she said to Manvi, that you should THANK Virat for being there the whole time 🤣 I thought a) he wasn't there the whole time and b) why would you say that to your patient?

I definitely agree with the last part about the CVs and their research on cancer. They need to be more thorough and efficient with a track that's dealing with a disease so serious!
Ayeshaaa... you made the post 🤗
Good, you haven't used PINK...so, without any further thoughts, here i select it...😉😆 Thanks for commenting, my venting, ranting partner 🤗Well, I knew you wouldn't be fully satisfied by the episode. And that's why I wanted to read ur take...it's good to know all the view-points..😳Yep...the thing is, as u kno this treatment track is under my eagle eyes 😆 so, i tend to get into logics, coz the margin for playing here ain't much for the CVs.And Resham...after our discussion in the morning...i analyzed the epi, keeping in view that SM was calling the shots here. I'm confused, man...its better if I don't build high hopes! 😕The epi belonged to JeeMan. NIA was just outstanding👏 The pain that she emoted during the whole process, the fear of undergoing the process before entering the OT...it was very well-emoted. All the pain that I felt for Maanvi today was because of Nia's brilliant portrayal.Agreed! Nia carried the epi on her shoulders. She was bang on wid her expressions. And today also...not going in the "analysis" mode...n just speaking of her performace...Nia was BRILLIANT!!!On the other hand, the pain I felt for Jeevika was due to the flashbacks. Nothing contributed from today's episode. Jeevika was helpless today. All her life she promised her mom, she promised herself and she promised her baby sister that she will protect her...that she will not let her suffer any pain. But today she couldn't do anything to save her sister from the pain...she couldn't protect her. As a viewer, I felt that pain and helplessness of Jeevika...but all because of the flashbacks. I usually love KD...today she had to emote through her eyes, and I love her eyes. We have all seen she can do wonders through those hazel pools...like the ME...but today something was missing. My sincere opinion...😳What else can I say except...I AGREE?? You've said it all...nothing left for me to add!But I do not agree when you say Jeevika shouldn't have left Maanvi alone. You have compared her to a mother...and how a mother will never leave her child alone to suffer. I know you brought the mother-child relationship into the picture because the CV's have always portrayed them so. You also know how I view JeeMan. I do not believe they are lonely souls who have only each other...as they so often say😆 While growing up, they had Chaudhary's. Yes, Jeevika always tried to be the Mannu's mother, but essentially, she is her sister...hardly 2-3 years older than Mannu. That makes Jeevika 22-24. Not a very mature age. Also, we should remember this is the first time Jeevika is present with Mannu during a treatment. Beeji, Chachu, rest of Chaudhary's have seen her go through the pain of chemo sessions. Virat has seen her go through the side-effects of chemo therapy and heavy medication. For Jeevika, all this very NEW experience. She knew Mannu had Cancer, but she had no idea of her pains and sufferings. That she should have known is an all-together different topic😉In a way, Jeevika was justified in leaving the OT. Plus, she was taken out forcibly. She din't run away scared...or start crying then and there. That in my opinion, was quite strong for Jeevika😛Resham...u know, i don't think i can explain this point better than a friend, js1234 has done. Read her take on this point...she's worded my feelings! And i'm waiting to know ur take on Jeevika today.SEEMA!!!! Did I say some days back, she looks like a sane person. I take my words back😆Hahaha...even I said the same...so, i'm also taking my words back 😆
We give an injection in the spinal cord of the person. It's a bit painful...but everything is okay. Still sometimes... Anyways, it's just a formality, sign the papers. Don't worry because this is a speciality of our hospital.^^ That is exactly what she says to Jeevika for signing the consent letter.WHAT WAS THAT????Is it a hospital...or a restaurant...that she smilingly mentions their "speciality" She was saying such grave scary consequences of the treatment...but was continously showing all her 32 teeh. It looked stupid😆
Also, when she says Mannu should thank Virat...BLAAAHHH. Looked totally out of place...as a doctor. It was only done to insert that "oohhh" BG music of Virat's love😆*head desk*...ye kahan se doctor banni hai? She doesn't know the basics of how to explain medical procedures to a patient...n then, that "lucky girl, Maanvi"...WHAT WAS THAT? This was all SM...in case u've forgotten.
That is all. I had no other problems in the epi.😃You and Lovleen saying that it was supposed to be an appointment...but turned out to be a test. Well, itna toh chalta hai.If u say so 😉
😆You both know me na...I do not need logic if the epi is good😆 Yesterday was one of those days 😉Hadh hai yaar...me's happy that u liked the epi. Thanks for commenting, Resham.OMG Edit... Immediate Edit😆How did I forgot this?? I liked VirMan yesterday.😳 The first scene of theirs that really clicked for me since the Mumbai trip. For the first time since the start of the show, I really liked Kushal's acting. Like...reallyyy LIKED😃 He is usually not great in emotional scenes...but I loved his tears yesterday. Hardly a ONE minute scene, but it had the impact.Virat holding her hand and giving Mannu the strength to bear the pain...both of them just looking at each other, no words spoken -- This is the VirMan I want. Strong, sensible, deep love😳
Hey I am sorry but I dont agree to most of your points. The point I agree to is the point on the first scene, I felt it was not portryed well like u said as well. There was no emotional connect.
I dont agree with the other points more important one is of not feeling Jeevika's pain, ok I dont know how that happed but its ur view, I felt her pain and krystle's eye's showed it perfectly. She is Jeevika, Maanvi's sister, mother, father and family. She loves her sister more than anything else, how can u expect her to be strong looking at all that. I felt her reaction was justified and it was not she who was leaving the OT Seema took her out looking at her pain. Anyway this is my point of view. I think ur POV is justified in its own way😊
