@ Mel - the whole forum is after poor Jeevika, including us at the behna thread. We are like Jeevika just get injured already. Poor girl.

@ Reema - Manan needs to have a bigger role, an actor like him should not be given such a tiny role. Gosh darn I love that deep sexy voice of his, he needs more dialogues! I don't think there will be a sad ending, but it seems there might be a lot of upsetting things if they portray a cancer patient properly but I have my doubts on that too. At this time, things don't really point to her dying. Does she even have cancer in the first place? Jeevika is there so her cancer seems to be on a stand still, just bidding time until she leaves.

Awww yes watch it watch it I gave it a try even though I did not know any of the actors and also went in not really knowing the story. Make sure you try to watch it till the little girl meets the guy because their relationship really stands out then continue it after if you like it. lol we do tend to like the same shows and generally have similar opinions about stuff. I don't think we have disagreed on anything so far.

LOL Umz, I think it's the unconventional pairings which appeal to us...from Gulaal-Kesar, Jeevika-Manvi and now you really like Mohan(?!) and that little girls bond. I think I've become so bored of the conventional romantic stories that I get attracted to unconventional dynamics. It's what happens when you've been. A serial junkie for so many years -___-

Hello ! How you doing? Definitely, it is the unconventional stories which attract us. I didn't even bother with Gulaal until I found out what it really was about, then I am like woah gotta watch this (plus I always found Neil Bhatt to be a cutie so that helped), JM - I have never seen such chemistry between any 2 girls actually much better than the chemistry between some guy/girl couples too, and yup now its Mohan/Nanhi - they treat each other as equals and are so honest about everything. I also found a great article linked on IF about NBT which I will send to you and you can read it whenever you are free, it's kinda long but it explains the show so well. I am not saying I have not enjoyed conventional pairings, there are some love stories which I still love to this day like Tere Liye, ccbm, ipkknd but then it really depends on how well they are portrayed and other factors as well. You just look for something new now since you have been watching serials for so long, while I have only been watching Indian serials for 2 years but I guess it's those different and realistic stories that attract me.

Love stories, fairy tales, OTTness etc. allow us to sit back and forget real world problems but sometimes people need to see realism because ignorance is rampant, we also should be able to relate because the real world is not a fairy tale. Jeeman might be OTT when it comes to their dialogues but their actions/reactions are not especially when you have siblings who you are close to.
