Manvi was sitting in the living room of the vadhera mansion flicking through the channels on the 40 inch television getting bored out of her mind , these days manvi had nothing to do. No matchmakings or helping anyone, it was boring to just sit & do absolutely nada.
And that useless husband of hers, he was so busy being a d**n lawyer that he didn't even give her any time anymore. Before marriage he would speak to her every waking hour & wouldn't let her sleep most of the nights cause he couldn't sleep & now he had no time to talk to her, he & his cases to study for.
Her di was out with jiju & maa and chichi had gone out shopping in which she was least interested. Maybe she could go to rishikesh to visit biji & chachu. Yes maybe she'd do that if virat couldn't give her time then what was she doing here sitting at home.
So she went in her bedroom to pack her bag for 4 days trip to rishikesh.let him have a taste of his own medicine. She was not even going to inform him about it. & she went only informing swamini bua once.
It was evening & everyone was sitting in the lounge, swamini bua had informed everyone of manvi staying with her biji for some time. So everyone knew about manvi going to her maika except virat.
Virat just entered the house , jeevika seeing her devar coming goes to him & tells him to freshen up so that he could join others in the lounge.
Virat felt a little strange as manvi everyday manvi used to come running to meet him & hug him, but he let it pass on her being angry cause he really couldn't give her time these days , he felt guilty but couldn't help it, so he thought he would make it up to her with a s**y smirk.
After freshing up he came to the lounge to relax with the others, he came and sat but to his surprise manvi wasn't among the others sitting in the lounge , he felt his temper rise on not seeing the beautiful face of his wife, so he asked his bhabhi the most obvious question rising in his mind;
"bhabhi manvi kahan hai, dikh nahi rahi hai kahin, room mein bhi nahi thi?"
"arre virat tumhe nahi bataya usne wo teen- chaar dino ke liye rishikesh gayi hai , biji se milne!!!!"
"kyyaaa!!!!"
"haan virat, wo toh 12 baje hi nikli thi, hame bata ke gayi hai, hame laga usne tumhe phone karke bata diyahoga, shayad wo bhul gayi hogi virat'"
Said a concerned buaji seeing virat's confused & slightly furious face.
" manvi rishikesh gayi hai wo bhi 4 dino ke liye aur mujhe bataya bi nahi,,,,'."
Everyone was shocked seeing virat's face go from concerned to hurt to furious.
Virat was not angry he was bl**dy furious at his beloved wife, he knew that he couldn't give his wife some time in past week but he did not know what a crazy wife he had that she would run away to her maika if he did not give her time. Well his bandariya could think again if she thought that she could go away for 4 days leaving him on his own& he wouldn't do anything about it.
Virat excused himself from his family & set on to bring his stupid stubborn wife back home to where she belonged by his side , in his bed & this time he would make sure that mrs.manvi vadhera was so busy that she would never even think about going away from him even for a day. So he took his wallet & car keys and set off to bring his runaway bride back home.
Manvi knew virat would've come to know about her departure & would be boiling ,"good serves him right for ignoring me for weeks." Manvi knew he must be angry, cursing her but with his ego the size of ballon, but he could've atleast called her, that chep. Even if to shout his frustration at her at her for leaving him without informing. Well maybe he would just ignore her absence & go on working on his cases like the nerd he had become, sometimes she regretted challenging him to join the office.
Manvi had gone out to meet her punters before taking her dinner with the family cause she had missed them, as she came home chachi told her to freshen up so they could have dinner.
Manvi had just come out from the bathroom after changing & freshing up when she heard some strange voices in the hall, thinking that some guests must have come there, at the same time wondering who had come this late she went to greet the guests downstairs.
As she walked down the stairs, she thought she heard virat's voice coming but ignored it cause virat would never come this late at night driving through the roads of rishikesh right??
Virat came inside chaudhary house to see everyone seated ready to have dinner, he felt bad for intruding like this at their dinner time but he had to cause of that bandariya of a wife. As he entered & took blessings of his in-laws, chachaji invited him to have dinner with them. after inquiring about his dear wife he came to know that she had gone for a walk & had just arrived , was just gone to freshen up, he went to her room in search of her.
He was walking towards the stairs from where her room was when he saw the vision of his wife's backside, she was standing with her back to him & trying to hear something & as he vagely guessed she was trying to hear the words of biji talking to chachi.
So he went behind her with slow measured steps so that she could not hear him & sneakily put a hand on the small of her back & other under her knees, picked her up. He knew that she would scream without looking at the person picking her, she would scream like a crazy women so he did what the husband of a crazy women would do'he kissed her to stop her from screaming & scaring everyone in the house.
Manvi was shocked someone had picked her up, it was a theif she was sure.after all she was never wrong, just as she was about to scream a pink lips came on top of her lips caressing her, she felt the familiar sparks in her stomach that came when that husband of hers kissed her.
Slowly she felt herself respond & let herself open her eyes to recognize the familiar pair of chocolate brown eyes smirking at her. Still holding her in her arms & kissing her, he walked towards the stairs into what she knew as her own room. Reeling from the earth shattering kiss given by her hubby, manvi felt herself coming back to the planet earth still in his arms but now in a standing position with their forehead joined, manvi looked looked at virat's face full of mischief & smirk.
"you, what are you doing here, fursat mil gayi apne kaam se'huh?"asked an angry manvi looking at her handsome husband.
Virat knew this was coming but right now he was angry about her coming here without informing him.
"wo sab baad mein, pehle tum mujhe ye batao kit tum mujhe bina bataye yahan kyun aaiyi'"he said while taking both her wrists & putting it at her back.
"main kya karti tumhare paas itna kaam hai kit um mujhe time hi nahi de paate the toh maine socha ki agar main wahan rahungi hi nahi to na tumhe mujhe time dena padega, nahi main bore houngi isliye main biji ke saath time spend karne yahan aa gayi'ouch virat, mera haath chodo'ah"
"Nahi chodunga,pehle bolo kit um kabhi mujhe chood ke kahin nahi jaogi aur tum ne ye jo apna saman unpack kiya hai, use pack karo kyunki hum dinner ke baad vapas Chandigarh ja rahe hain, samjhi tum?"said virat strictly but manvi was in a mischievious mood so she said'
"par maine to yahan sabko keh diya hai ki main yahan aur 3-4 din rahungi, chalo ek kaam karte hai ki tum aaj dinner ke baad chale jao phir main aati hun 3-4 din mein wapas yahan sabke saath rehke, thik hai."
"bilkul bhi nahi madam, ya toh hum dono yaha se aaj dinner ke baad jayenge ya phir hum dono kal subah breakfast ke baad jayenge, ab choose tumhe karna hai kit um kab jaana pasand karogi'"
Hearing this manvi was a little shocked because she hadn't thought he would remain here over night but she played tactfully & said'
"thik hai hum kal chale jaiyenge breakfast ke baad 'alright!!!"
"thik hai, to chale dinner karne"
It would be a under statement to say that manvi was shocked hearing this, virat could see that.she had thought that he would refuse & go away after dinner.so she tried one last time.
"pa..par virat, tumhara kaam bahut suffer karega na iski wajah se, toh tum chale jao na abhi'"
"Nahi jaan ek din main office nahi jaunga to earthquake nahi aa jayega na, bhai sambhal lenge.aur waise bhi bahut time ho gaya maine tumhare saath time spend nahi kiya hai, hmm. Chale."
