@TM:- I get where you are coming from but that's how it is. None of the characters in the show are real, I believe - Jeevika is too calm and obedient (we don't get such people in real life now, do we?), and contrary to many people's beliefs, I don't think Manvi's a realistic character either- yes she enjoys life to the fullest but a lot of stuff that she does, we won't see anyone doing it in reality, no matter how outspoken one is- people in reality do learn to think before acting in certain situations.
No character can be seen as "natural", IMO. But this is needed- shows aren't there to depict the reality in its entirety- some exaggeration is needed and hence this. :)

Also, It's Jeevika AND Manvi who make the show worth watching for me, not just one. Without even one of them, this show would be boring- if Manvi's chirpiness brings life to the show for some, It's Jeevika's calm way of handling the problems Manvi creates(though unintentionally most of the times- they're usually done with a good intention but things don't go as planned for Manvi, unfortunately) and rectifying them (and saving her sister from trouble in doing so) that brings stability and serenity to the show which are equally important. This show wouldn't be where it is today if either Manvi or Jeevika were absent, not just one- Jeevika AND Manvi are EHMMBH not just one of them. Both sisters are very different and that's what makes this show, they're both equally important to the show, believe it or not.

I know some people here prefer one sister over the other (no TM, I'm not saying it's you but just in general) and that leads many of them to automatically despise the less preferred sister (though I don't know why) but there are many like me who understand both the characters and love both of them equally.

Perfectly said! The way the characters have been sketched, both sisters are extreme in their natures hence they balance each other out. That's why when Jeevika was by herself in Chandigarh, you wished Manvi was there for the excitement while seeing Manvi's impulsiveness in Rishikesh felt incomplete without Jeevika there to calm/scold her.

If you truly love & understand the show then you need to appreciate both sisters IMO.

I'm not telling anyone to appreciate both of them equally. Each to their own but I don't see the point of bashing one to make the other look better. It's childish and not necessary because this show needs BOTH of them equally and I understood that when they were apart. Like Krystle says, the USP of this show is Jeevika-Manvi's relationship..they are what makes the show different from other dramas.

Exactly! Both the sisters need to be appreciated to truly love the show.

And @ the red part:- Bingo! When they're together- it feels absolutely complete and when they're not- we have that feeling that something is missing- this is what the show is about too. We cannot, just cannot compare and divide the two sisters- it's an insult and just doesn't seem right to me.

Has this turned into a battle-ground or what! Please people, lets not get into heated arguments over fictional characters. Everyone is entitled to their opinion...defending a character is one thing, belittling others at the cost of defending characters is another thing...so I hope everyone can just calm down a bit.

@kasharti1 & @ Reemz - very sensibly said about the whole issue.
I love both the sisters...each one has their own speciality...one is calm, quiet and mature and the other is naughty, full of life, bubbly, impulsive. No two siblings can be identical in nature.
So lets just sit back and enjoy the show.
Jeevika herself is trying to adjust in the Wadhera house with all their military rules & regulations. Its going to be tough for Jeevika to handle her sister and her in-laws. This balancing act is going to be quiet a challenge.
