Am in a bit philosophical mood today...thanks to the issues revolving around my life...and in this state of mind watched the episode today. 😆 So, my disclaimer beforehand... i might go a bit overboard in this post...hope am forgiven for that. 😳😆
As per me... today's episode revolved around one person...and that was Viren Singh Vadera... firstly, in the scene where Swamini says abt his room's decoration...n then when everyone's teasing him. So, thought of analyzing his character a bit. Let's see how it goes 😳😆 Would love to know from you guys!
Viren...a simple guy...who has everything that one could wish for...yet, he had n has his share of bouncers from life...the first one being the death of his dad...which changed the lives of the bro's in many ways. Despite having everything...there has been certain emptiness n loneliness in life. Not just this...every person in his house, in his life...has always had many expectations from him. Expectations of being an ideal grandson, elder son (not just for his own mom..but for his badi maa too), nephew, elder bro. Also, his profession is the one which has inherent expectations in it...and coming from the Vadera family...those increase manifolds.
With sooo many expectations attached...one has very less chances to falter...coz that would mean hurting or disappointing his dear n loved ones, which he can never afford. So, for him, life has always meant living for others...his own happiness, his sorrows, his life...maybe, amongst fulling his responsibilties in the various roles, he never got to ponder over these...and think abt HIMSELF!
The first bit of the epi...His room...yes, its decorated in accordance with his taste...with his liking...but maybe, there are things which he has just accepted coz he doesn't wanted his badi maa to feel bad. I'm no way saying that Swamini doesn't know him or anything...my point is just that...knowing Viren...if he doesn't like the setting or anything, he would never let Swamini get the slightest of hint...coz these are all just materialistic things...the love she has given to him, and the happiness she must;ve got from getting his room designed, keeping into view his likes and dislikes...nothing could be more important than that. Room, its setting, its decoration...they are almost non-existent in front of the love n happiness of his badi maa!
As for Vanshika...he has a pretty casual relation with her...she's the only one with whom he doesn't as such care for the protocol...like he could easily tell her that he'd eat the kheer she made for him later. But then, i feel, at times...he is stuck b/w the two women...and he has to draw a balance there...so that none of them feels bad. What about his own stance...that takes the back seat n he ensures that none of the the ladies feels neglected or thinks that she has been given less importance than the other. Diffiicult situations at times...isn't it so?
The obedient grandson of his Dadaji...Viren considers the old man as his role model n wants to be like him in everything...be it his professional life...or personal. Not just this, Viren is Dadaji's hope...what his own sons couldn't do...he is doing...so, the man has lots of expectations form the young guy. And Viren strives very hard not to fall short of these expectations...coz he cannot disappoint his Dadaji...and for this...he has to be just like him...a a thorough professional and a disciplined person, who keeps work at the top most priority. It really is a tough task!
Coming to his Chacha...the position he should've had...esp. when it comes to the profession...that Viren belongs to... Dadaji trusts the capabilities of the grandson more...finds him more competent (which he is)...and thus, the Chacha, instead of taking the lead... comes after him. But doesn't this mean added responsibility (in a way) for Viren? Chacha, who coudl've been a mentor for him...seeks his guidance...and is dependant on him for the legal suits n cases. And thus, the major chunck of the burden fell on him...and carrying that burden... with all the dignity, so that he doesn't harm the reputation of the Vadera family... is a huge task!
I don't think I have to go into the details of the Viren-Virat relationship. I really enjoy the bond these two share...its very realistically shown. The bro's are extremely close to each other...but the best thing i find abt them is...they give each other the much needed space. Virat has a past..and maybe that's why, Viren choses not to share his issues with his bro. They are there for each other...in happiness and in sorrow...but like i said...both of them, keep their personal problems to themselves..not wanting the other to worry. They both already have lots in their hands to deal with...even if just the daily chores of life.
Amidst all this...where does he have the time to think about himself...esp when there are lots and lost of expectations from him?? He has to keep everyone happy...balance the various roles he have...and in all that, he can't possibly think abt himself.
So, for doing this on his behalf...finally he found his companion...who is there for HIM...only HIM! Who is there to think about him..share his happiness, his sorrows, his pain, be his constant strength and his support. Thus, after years of sailing alone in the sometimes rough, n sometimes smooth sea...Viren has found his partner...who will be there to hold his hand in times of roughness, and they both will sail along side to enter the smooth patch.
And this process has already started...
I'm sure some of u might not be appreciating the way Viren left Jeevika on their wedding night and went to inquire abt the person who was attacked by Jaiswal's men. But as per me...THIS scene defined the JV relationship..their bond...the bond they share n will share as men n wife. Loved how Jeevika said..."By now i know this much abt u...and i know that u can't let any innocent person suffer". There was not just relief...but pride in Viren's eyes. He was thankful to his stars for bringing Jeevika in his life...who knows and understands him. And when she says..."you don't worry...just go n take care of urself...i'll wait for you..." one can clearly see the love, respect n affection in Viren's eyes for his wife...who doesn't stop him from going...who doesn't throw tantrums...who knows that his work is of utmost importance atm...so, she won't stop him...all she wants is his safety. And my most fav bit came after this...which inspired me to make this long n boring post 😳...and that is...Viren going to the door...turning back...with a relieved mind n heart, smiling...and simply saying..."thank you for understanding me..." and closes the door after they both share a brief eye lock. Yes...they both have found their companions...and with the glow of this understanding and love...the darkness of emptiness and loneliness has vanished from their lives. KT-KD, both did a wonderful job in the scene.
I know this is getting long...but will just say...those of you who think that how could Viren leave Jeevika...trust me...coming from a family of lawyers...this is how life is for them. Its just work, files, books n cases. Here, maybe it was a bit over done (coz its a show) and Viren left on the wedding night...but my mom always used to tell us... that two days after their wedding...my dad was back in the court for some imp. case. 😆 So, today i was watching the epi with her n when Viren left...she was like...seee, this is why i don't want anyone to marry a lawyer 🤣
Guess, have bored you guys enough. Hopefully, you didn't sleep while reading this loong post 😆As always, looking foward to your comments and criticism. 😳
