This may be a random post but I just felt like saying that, I've only started watching EHMMBH recently, since the Shopping trip a few weeks back, and fell in love with this show. It has been a very long time since I have got into an Indian show and am so glad I stumbled across it.
As I started watching the show after it started, I decided to watch from the very beginning so that I could actually understand the show properly, (luckily, for me uni has finished for Christmas, which gave me the time, to do so.)
I often complain myself that the storyline is dragging (but in saying that it is a daily so it had to drag a bit otherwise the show would be over before it starts) but by watching it from the beginning till today's episode. I have realised that the story may take its time to get to its point, but the journey it takes and when it gets there it doesn't disappoint. Everything that happens seems to be planned and will unravel slowing, but surely. 👏
The show itself is beautifully put together: from its writing, to its direction, its background score, and the acting by all involved. It portrays a range of different relationships and emotions from a parent- child dynamic, to the bond of siblings and then to the to be spouses. Each relation is different and has its own feeling, which a lovely to see. I love Maanvi and Viraat constant bickering, as it brings masti and fun to the show. I also love Jeevika and Viren as a couple. They are simply adorable, both are extremely shy, patient and calm. I actually think sometimes Viren is more shy then Jeevika (sometimes, even though Jeevika is also shy). There was a scene a while back with both of them, where he asked her if he could hold her hand. That was something that touched me not only because it was cute, but when my boyfriend and I started dating he did the exact same thing. It brought back some nice memories for me. 😊
I could ramble on for ages, but I'll stop now. Sorry about the long post I just thought I would share my take on the first 50 episode of Behna. Hopefully the show will carry on in the same manner.
