Awesome post Vee...something of substance, as expected of you !!!
Loved all the comments and the discussion !

I feel that Jeevika always being the mother-figure to Manvi, will not let go off easily !! She will try hard but the moment Manvi needs her, she will go running for her, sometimes not realising that she neglected poor Viren in all this !!
If we see someone caring for manvi as we see Virat in last few episodes, then definitely, Jeevika might relax a bit ...but the way the sisters fret about each others well being sometimes scares me !!
I hope that Manvi's illness is not a major one, taking away all of attention from a newly wed Jeevika and her unassuming hubby !!!
Keeping fingers crossed !!!

Mani… Sooo good to see you!!!

Are you watching this show..?? Enjoying it?? KT is amazing na!? I mean he does this with so much ease… I love his acting and the smallest of the things he does. He is too good… LOL!

@your comment: Maniii.. I think the illness is big for sure.. I am only hoping that it is not stretched too.. like in Manvi's words "reeng reeng ke jaa raha hai" types! LOL! I really also hope it doesn't take away from the newly wed scenes and dominating with the bemaree scenes.. not fair to the audience and the characters :D.

I agree with you there will be some lessons to learn for Jeevika .. nothing against her and her love for her sister but it is more of she doesn't know of other love. This will truly be her test! Looking forward to it..

Good to see you Mani.. please aatee jaa!!

I'm actually undecided on this whole balancing act...but come on, as many pointed out, this balancing act should fail at some point of time, right...where is the scope for drama then ?
This could probably unfold in two possible ways. Either misunderstandings could crop up between J and M. But that's one path trodden many a time in various shows. Or like you put it, Viren might feel neglected by J.

At this juncture, Jeevika's priority does seem to be Maanvi. That's quite understandable, considering Viren just entered her life. Viren is able apprehend J's love for M, at least for now. I'm pretty sure there is more to Viren's character than what meets the eye, though. Maanvi, on the other hand, has slowly grasped the fact that she should not trouble J with her health and what not. So, right now, both Viren and Maanvi are helping Jeevika with her balancing act.

The turn of events after J and V's marriage should give us more insight. Rewind back a few days, to J and V's first phone conversation. When J told him that she was worried about M, V immediately said 'spare a thought for me also'. I'm really not able to take a stand on Viren of the future. I feel Maanvi will be the one to act all mature in handling this whole priority issue.

Where does Jeevika stand in this whole thing ? Everything might take a backseat for J, once she is aware of M's illness. Yet, as hinted by many, the same J might take a step back and allow Viraat to take care of Maanvi.

However, in spite of all these complexities and new relationships being formed, something will keep the bond between J and M intact. Their love can go only from strength to strength.

BTW, great post Veena 😊

Thanks Madhu(if I may?)... and love your discussion points!

Yes there needs to be drama.. (that is Starone ka motto afterall!) LOL!

I feel the same about Viren as you.. there is more to him.. and really we know it is coming.. but in what way would be something to look for! There is something that is going to break his cool… just like 'Dr Manan' epi did!\

Agreed.. Manvi is already acting mature about all this. She was the one that didn't want the wedding to happen.. but she is taking it in stride.. it is getting difficult for Jeevika. I think the younger sister will have some to teach the older one here.. and yes I completely agree and love your last statement.

Thanks for your comments!!!😳

She has to concentrate on her married life and sasural. I agree that she loves her sister very much and she is very protective about her. I am afraid that due to her possessiveness that she has for her sister it shouldn't create problems between Viren and Jeevika. She has to balance both of them.

Well said. If Jeevika finds the balance then problem hi na ho because there won't be any conflict to show. Like you said the whole misunderstandings between sisters is a been there done that concept. What makes this show different is that Manvi and Jeevika will put each other first before anyone and how it effects their other relationships. It's something not within their control! Manvi is a loud and proud fan of her Di, she drinks, eats and breathes Jeevika and even Jeevika does the same but in far more subtle ways without her even realising that she is continuously thinking about her sister. Whether it's her roka or maata ki chowki, her eyes are focused on how her Mannu is feeling. It's not a conscious effort from her side...it just happens. Their love is what defines them and that's what creates the imbalance and excitement in the show.

Virat is being a complete sweetheart to Manu and she appreciates that too but despite that, all her talks are centred around her Di so she definitely isn't 'letting go'. If we talk about symbolism here, the nearer the Wedding day comes...the worse Manvi's health is getting. So she maybe acting mature about the situation because she has to but it's taking a toll on her majorly.

Meri Veenz ka topic! HAI HAI! Now I understand why you go MIA! :P

Coming to the topic, I agree with the point that Jeevika will need to learn to balance her priorities, however as someone else ( Madhu?) I think mentioned in her post, if everything is balanced, then there is no point to the story- which is true. Imbalance will be necessary to guide the story in the right way and highlight the main concept of the show which is the bond between the sisters, at the end of the day.

Viren is the perfect husband material, I think we can all agree on that. The way he's being so supportive of Jeevika when it comes to Maanvi is super sweet. He can obviously see that the two girls have no one besides each other whom they can share their feelings too. They've literally grown up together, lived life together, so to see that he understands what Jeevika must be going through is really nice. AND I honestly think that Viren isn't gonna mind the sister bond too much. Like he has a brother too, so he should put himself in Jeevika's shoes- if the need arises where he does feel insecure.

Maanvi's super strong. From not wanting the wedding to happen to then believing no one but Viren could be the perfect life partner to her Di- shes grown. Her illness is definitely bring the sisters more closer than ever, and in that process, Viren and Viraat closer to her too!!

I don't know if what I'm about to say now is really related to the topic, however I do get really bugged about how fans of the two couples are always at loggerheads saying "the scene was so short" and " arghhh they got no footage today"- it really annoys me. I love the two couples too, but before that I really love the sister bond and the whole feel to the show. People need to realize the show isn't JUST about the couples- THE TITLE of the show gives it offf. THE SISTERS are gonna be the MAINNN subject of all the drama in this show :D IDK if it's only me, but seriously the bond between the sisters makes me really wish mine was like that with my sister. Thats how moving the story is. Just had to say that lol.

Love your topic Veens! <3and miss you loser :(

I completely agree with quoted... this show is about the sisters so it is going to revolve around them.. all of the rest is secondary.. what we get with the 'couples' scenes is complimentary😆 that is how I look at it.. and Me too .. i love the two couples they are so different and cute in their own way!!!
