sometimes suspension can be temporary... like for 6 months, 1 year, etc.

Suspension is always temporary. Suspension means the man is still in service and will receive salary. Discharged from service means he is out of that job. Hamesha ke liye kabhi suspension nahi hota. The word suspension itself signifies that it is temporary. Temporary cessation or temporary pause.
When a man is discharged it means he will not receive any benefits from his organisation. No pension no salary. Suspension is different. Mostly suspension happens until the trial is on or as some punishment. People fear suspension because it puts a black mark in their career report which shall remain forever.

Instead of focusing on the details of the case, they chose to give too much importance to unwanted melodrama inside and outside the court😆
