All in their element as Shaurya, Sakshi and Rajnath Goenka.
Their expressions, eyes, voice and style of speaking made the scenes striking and outstanding.
Visually their scenes were symbolic. They were all sitting or standing apart. All shaking heads. Then when Shaurya spoke on blunders of parents, Sakshi was half hurt and half in denial. Rajnath moved away and hid face.
They often pointed fingers at each other.
The final symbolic sequence was Shaurya letting go of Sakshi's hands and moving away.
That is seal on their unity breaking apart. And also of self destruction.
They were together earlier. So they kept winning. Now they are disjointed. Apart. Each blaming the other.
Nitya leaving Payal alone in court sealed their fate back then. Shaurya leaving hand of his mother, who was his protective shield is beginning of his fate being sealed.
One reckless act of his brought them so much trouble. Another reckless act of his will ruin them, with no one to save him as he himself moved away from them.
The episode proved Goenkas had lost all humanity. No concept of family. Only ego and power. As parents or siblings or progeny, they had no connection. They were just there to hunt, eat, get pleasure, protect, rescue or kill. Like any animal does.
Rajnath and Sakshi are such failures that they didn't even point out to Shaurya that he had no right to talk to his parents like that - calling them useless or stupid or slaves. Raj was quick to point to Dev on his style of talking when he had called Sakshi as Mrs Goenka. But forgot now how mannerless his own son was?
Their EGO has become bigger than any attachment for them. They forgot all bonds. Even with each other. Shameless Raj and Sakshi taunted him as a cripple. Whereas he called them old, foolish, useless, slaves and gave a veiled threat to kill them if they came in his way.đ¤˘
Is this family? Nope!
This very ego is going to take them down.
Power entails responsibility. But not for Goenkas! Raj and Shaurya easily blamed Sakshi but forgot how she had been warning them against Durga and Dayal from day one! Hypocrites!đĄ Sakshi in turn is such a fool that instead of feeling crushed or wondering what people she had raised as family, blamed Durga? She thinks she is powerful but she is just a partriarchal slave. She will take any BS from men in her family just because they are rich and help her remain in power. đ¤˘
On other hand, people like Akash, Durga, Dev, Suchitra were uniting, standing close, holding hands.
Obviously the united ones will stand. The divided ones will fall.
Some left protective shield. Some embraced it.
The symbolism and style of shooting was equally brilliant. Though performances wise villains stole the show in revealing their true crass nature and humongous ego.
