When in custody Dev's dress

How come in the Precap they showed that Dev was wearing the Prisoner dress. After all the judge ordered Dev to be taken only in custody and not as to be kept in prison. Can someone clarify this. Am I missing something.

i honestly doubt the creatives know the diff between a person in custody and a prisoner..they dint even care to learn tht in a trial the prosecution proceeds first and not the defense as shown in the show..moreover tht there is an entity called cross-examination without which a witness is not let off the stand..itna research kaun karega?? we belong to the era of tv shows, jahan people come back alive from flat-line ecgs listening to relatives cry..even in EHT, the doc needed sum scan (God knows which) to confirm tht raima is in coma..sheesh..coma ka definition bhi pata nahi hoga kisiko..

Man they dint give us a proper kolkata flavour and what are we expecting ? court scenes are always the worst executed in any soaps . They are not researching enough to altleast to incorporate little bit of actual law proceedings . The ultimate aim is to show the good guy suffer and later his coming back . EHT is a saas pati and bahu drama now so u cant expect logic or reasoning behind it .
