Raj calls up Sakshi informing that Raima has slipped into coma. Sakshi pretends to be hurt while Rajnath sheds tears. She silently rejoices and says she cannot talk right now. Sakshi thinks of informing Durga about this good news.
At the police station, Suchitra and Durga want to meet Dev but they are denied permission. The Inspector tells them to get approval from the higher authorities. Suchitra requests him to at least provide the food for Dev. However, the Inspector refuses again and Durga says very soon she'll be back with the legal documents. Once they leave, Inspector calls up Sakshi and tells her that Dev refuses to confess his crime. Sakshi says why would he confess a crime he hasn't committed. She tells Inspector to hurt Dev and then make him confess. Inspector says they cannot just use the 3rd Degree punishment as it needs the consent of the higher authorities. Sakshi tells Inspector to instigate Dev so much that he becomes violent and attacks him. Then, they can easily use 3rd degree punishment to torture him.
Rajnath comes home totally exhausted and Sakshi says he looks very worried. Raj says he's more concerned about her. Sakshi appreciates his love for her and says she just cannot handle everything that has happened. Raima was supposed to go for some re-union function. Had she gone for it all this wouldn't have happened.
Suchitra tells Raj that his guilt won't become less by turning away. Raj says he is not feeling guilty for what he did. He also informs them that Raima is in coma. Dev will have to suffer the consequences. Suchitra says Dev only needed answers to what happened 2 years ago and now she will support Dev in finding the truth. Rajnath receives a call from the Bank Manager who informs him that they're cancelling the deal. Rajnath is furious and the Manager reveals that Dayal Thakur has decided to backout. Rajnath informs Sakshi about the same who is glad that Rajnath has become more stressful which gives him another reason to hate Dev.
Karan's dad, Mr.Basu warns him to stay away from the Goenkas. He cannot afford to let anything affect his image since the elections are nearing. Just then Rajnath walks in. He tells Mr. Basu to fast track Dev's case. Dev wanted to reopen Payal's case and if that happens not only Shaurya but even Karan will fall in trouble. Rajnath also reminds him not to stay away from the Goenkas as it will only keep him unsafe.
Suchitra is agitated with the journalists's constant questions about Dev. The journalist asks her what will be their next step since Raima is in coma. Suchitra breaks down and Durga deals with the journalist telling him to do whatever he wants but it won't stop them from proving Dev's innocence. Durga receives a call from the lawyer who says the Dev's bail application has been rejected. He tells her to watch the news where the reporter says that Dev's case has been fast tracked and the first hearing is tomorrow. Durga says she won't give up so easily.
Sakshi is playing the piano when Durga approaches her. Durga praises her and Sakshi says it requires lots of training, dedication & little talent, not everyone can do it. Durga agrees but also tells her nothing is impossible. Durga requests Sakshi to let her try it once and she grants her permission. Durga takes her seat and Sakshi says the keys are accustomed to her fingers only. Durga retorts back saying she believes in breaking habbits. She then plays a melodious tune which earns a compliment from Sakshi.
Durga asks her why isn't she celebrating since her best friend is in coma. Sakshi tells Durga it seems that she's losing control and in a way it's good to see her concern for Dev. Sakshi tells her not to worry as all will be well. Durga challenges Sakshi that within one week Dev will be out of jail. Very soon Sakshi herself will compliment her saying Well played Durga'.
