I feel Sakshi and Rajnath's initial meeting might have something to do with her being a reporter. She must have dug up some stuff against Rajnath - or chanced upon or deliberately probed his past and found something incendiary there. Being who she is she would have struck a deal. Maybe it was her investigation of Arnab's death? Maybe they even collaborated.
