I think mods are asleep.😆
One know it all thinks all others are Indians or represent every Indian woman, and is judging all posts based on a few.

I am no one to suggest anything but will still request people to stop paying attention to such racist posts that stereotype an entire populace.

I am surprised a journalism grad justifies jumping to conclusions based on partial scattered views she chose to pay attention to. That explains falling standards of media these days.

Rapes happen on a very large scale in UK and USA too:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11165613/Rapes-now-at-their-highest-ever-level-ONS-figures-reveal.html

http://www.significancemagazine.org/details/webexclusive/1424839/rape-more-common-than-smoking-in-the-us.html

Here in the US campus rapes are very common and universities and colleges suppress those crimes and protect the rapists to prevent bad publicity, just like in India.

Nirbhaya case happened in 2012 December in New Delhi.

BTW How does the subject of rape in India come into the discussion of Dev not letting Durga use his washroom? 😕

Yes Nirbhaya case was in the year 2012 but she said last year something happened that made global news so I asked her which case was she referring to.

I was about to put another 'The Guardian' article about European crimes against women , the same newspaper which was said to be one of the best in its business but had to refrain from doing so as one of the moderators have earlier specified we are not to bring stuff from other website

As for media is concerned, media is a potent weapon in politics and every political state uses it for its own benefit. One cannot simply deny this fact. Not to forget electronic media also needs TRPs to be on the front line and the print media also uses lame tactics to get noticed. As Narendra Modi had said,' Unki bhi rozi roti hai'. So, lets not get into this anymore.

I may not understand how Journalism works but I surely understand politics a lot😆

Moderators may please close the thread because the topic of this thread has become obsolete both discussion wise and by the way the storyline of the show has progressed.

LOL.. your question is so damn funny . What makes you believe there are no qualified people here in this forum or rather say in Asia ?😆😆

Oh yes as I am pretty much qualified in politics . Just as much as you are in Journalism you see.
That should be enough information about a member in a global forum.

Don't you think doing political stories and understanding politics should be different ? Otherwise we would have been flooded by PMs and Presidents belonging to the journalism background claiming they have learnt enough about politics to run the nation.😆 but of course since both Journalism and ppolitics are inter- linked you are ought to know Politics to a certain extent. Obviously by the same logic I know how much media is manipulated by every state to meet their ends.
