His suspicion is on Karan. The minister's son as he feel Karan is more influential. He is naive and direct. Unless he changes that no hope for him.
I guess it is because of his direct approach he most probably get bullied. That guy is easily made Bali ka Bakra( I cant help using it) by using words like Parivaar, izzat, pita ka naam etc.. If he has been tactful he would have escaped such words.
I remember somewhere Nithya telling after she saw Shaurya saving her in pub she thought whatever she heard about Shaurya may be wrong. he was not that bad after all ( So she had some knowledge of Shaurya which she ignored as Nithya)
Hope they give some tangible answer for his not knowing. That's a real loophole. Also the fact that all his accounts were hacked including FB and Twitter.
Coming to rape case on news , in India we generally dont mention the name of the rape victim. Even in high profile Delhi Rape case we know the victim as Nirbhaya not the real name. So the name might have come after some time or he might have known it through his friends.
My main concern about his character is why he didnt try to reach Nithya via his friends in India. Or do we need to believe Dev had no friends. He was a real loner. He looks a loner, but then college and all no friends, no connect.
I am def not for revealing her identity of Durga to him at this point. He needs to prove himself to get back his Nithya.
