To be honest Shaurya is a flat character. No layers or depth. And Vatsal is just okay. His voice modulation, dialogue delivery and pronunciation need bigtime improvement. As a villain he never scares. He simply irritates.

I feel older characters like Rajnath and Sakshi are much more layered, fleshed out and nuanced than Shaurya.

I don't know who told EHT actors that long drawn dialogues in weird voice and lame pauses make for menacing feel. I am also tired of lack of normal way of speaking. Durga talks normally to Payal and over food to Dayal but starts giving too many pauses and starts chewing words as she speaks of Goenkas and plans of revenge. It does get tedious after a point of time.

I get where you are coming from😆 The fact that I am irritated but not frightened or repulsed by the character in itself is a failure for the character. Shourya, the man who raped and tortured a girl until she finally cracked, the guy who is both sleazy and egoistic at the same time.. There is no proper depth being portrayed here.
The way Shourya's dialogues comes out, you kinda want to fast forward the scene because it is too irritating. One should be riveted through his plotting but unfortunately it's a disappointment.

I agree... and as I love psycho characters, I always love their scenes. I literally enjoy it. But Shaurya is an insult in the name of psycho characters. 😆 Na achcha insaan ban paya na achcha psycho. 😆 But I seriously think people like him exist, who do bad things but are complete fool. 😆 So yes it's irritating to watch his scenes.

i really dont think that the actor is bad instead i think no one could have pulled off this role better than this guy!!

I don't think the fault is in his acting I guess this is the way his character shaurya is supposed to be. He is kind of a psycho but it suits him perfectly

As an actor, i find Vatsal doing great as Shaurya. Despite giving officious dialogues and being oversmart all the time, if he doesn't come out as a real villian then thats because his character is meant to be that way. He is supposed to be a brat who goes around being bossy but at the end of the day, lands up in mess and comes back begging to his parents to save his skin.

Probably, but IMO he is not even able to portray that properly...in the scene with his friends, his friend was acting better than him as a shaken guy...shourya eeds to nuance his portrayal at this stage...he has been given the scene of hatching a murder plot for his cousin bro n he is speaking in tone which just doesn't suit the situation...almost as if he is reading out his lines with a few pauses inserted...flat acting

I hear you !!!! He gets the creepy stuff right maybe because of his feminine looks (those eyes are a bit creepy for a guy) but when he is to portray evil he fails miserably ... Comes off as a buffoon.

He is perfect as far as rich brat goes. Anything beyond that is not his cup of tea.
