Is 7 years enough for a rape accused and his friends?

I just watched Damini today. It kind of has a similar plotline as EHT.

So as I was saying, the court gave 7 years prison to the rapist and his friends. And the rest who helped in hiding the crime were given 2 years.

Is this fair?

Just doing my bit to improve forum rankings.

Obviously 7 years prison is not enough. They should be hanged till death OR released in between public.

Well 7 years is less.

The sentence can be longer depending on severity of crime and if more illegal and criminal stuff was done to hide the crime, influence trial, mislead court. Stuff which is there in Shaurya Goenka rape case.

Of course 7 years r not enough
Even life imprisonment for this crime wouldn't be enough
And only 2years for those who supported..??😡
They are bad enough 🤢

i dont knw abt death penalty but they should be imprisoned for life. i do not want such ppl roaming about in the society raping n molesting more girls
