Okay, so this is my first topic in this forum because I could not resist posting this aaj.
This show, I'm hooked, definitely, completely, utterly. The story line, in the true sense of the word, is gripping. The characters have been brilliant written and the names of the leads could not have been more perfect.

Durga, the woman personifies strength and beauty. The grace with which she takes revenge is beautiful. It is so subtle, yet so effective. Her plans are genius and what makes it successful is her determination. She knows what she wants to do and does it, and how well does she do it.

Shaurya, he has the looks and the money, basically, the materialistic things, egoistic, chauvinist, he has every quality which a man must not possess in the quantity he possesses it. I will applaud the writers for this character for he is consistent, he sets his goals and achieves them but what differentiates him and Durga, is that he doesn't care about the other person while Durga cares about the people who it is affecting.

Not only the leads but the elders are brilliant as well.

Sakshi Goenka. The name defines strength. A woman, overwhelmed by love. Cunning, smart, attractive, truly a beauty with brains with one weakness which overpowers everything. Her love, for her son.

Raj Goenka. He is the weak link. He stutters in front of his wife, hence seeks refuge with Raima, wanting to be above all, and Raima gives it to him.

Dr. Dayal Thakur, the man behind Durga. Her pillar of strength without whom, she would break. Durga's only other weakness, other than Payal. He is what a man should be. I truly admire his will and determination and the faith he instills in Durga about her actions.

Akash, I'm still not sure. Why is he helping Durga? What is he here for? For me, he is truly, the mystery man. It is clear it's not for money, then why is he doing this?
And finally, Dev. Stuck in a web of misunderstandings, trying to find his way out, the only person other than Sakshi who has understood what is up with Durga. It will be interesting to see what happens when he discovers everything.

And now, to the current track. So much to see, so much to figure out. I, for one, though I love Dev-Durga, I want to see zero cliched romance, please. 😳 And what with Shaurya misunderstanding Dev, it would be interesting to see where this goes. And the biggest question of all, who is the next big target. Also, with Sakshi looking for brides, I would love to see who she selects as her bride and of course, who will be the new architect. I have a feeling it's Dev. 🤔 And thus, I conclude, there is tons of potential, as usual and I hope they execute it as brilliantly as they have so far.

Ananya, it feels soo nice to see u here!! 🤗
This show has got one of the best story lines, and characters!
Durga leaves me speechless. She is today's woman. She is what a girl should b like. She is an epitome of feminism. She does not let anything come in her way. For her its about punishin the wrong, and she is doing a marvellous job.

Shaurya...I wonder how can anyone play such a characte so well!
U actually hate him like anythng, but stil the moment i dont c him for a long time, i b like- "Kaha hai yeh?"
I cant wait for him to suffer, and i must say vatsal is doing a fantastic job! And so is Sanjeeda...

All in all, the casting is perfect and so r the characters!
This show definitely got substance!

I would like to end it with- I cant tellu how happy i am to see u! So hello again! xP

You are right this show is completely addictive.

All the actors and the crisp writing is great.

Seeing a strong and determined woman on a mission to bring the Rich and Powerful Goenka's to their knees is indeed a pleasure to watch.

Akash to me for now seems to be there just to help Durga and the only thing is why has Durga not told him the REAL reason behind her mission.

Akash understands that Durga is going after an evil family because he has seen first hand how Shakshi thinks and executes her plans.

The only thing he wonders is the real reason behind it and his curiosity is to be expected.

I hope the CV's do not make him an enemy for Durga because she has enough of them
already and needs someone genuine to help her reach her goal.

Durga and her determination are a pleasant surprise in Indian Serials.

Well written.👏
The show is gripping and truly addictive. So many episodes, moments and scenes that leave viewer breathless! I find it an exhilarating watch!

The biggest plus is that characters have yet more shades and layers to be unravelled. Lot of subtle hints were dropped in conversations of characters as open ends for possible tracks in future.

Casting and performances are spot on.

Dialogues are perfection! ⭐️

The best and worst of humanity is here to see in this show and in relatable to reality manner.

Durga's plans are flawless. I am glad how she arranged a lawyer for Ganguly women and already made provisions for all details of the case and got job for Nandini plus treatment for her brother. When she crosses out a villain from her list, it is crossed for good!

Dayal is amazing and classy. He has used money, power, influence and resources in right direction.

Feminism, class hierarchies and struggles, manipulation and nexus involving law, media, business...so many themes covered in one show.

I hope it goes right and maintains steam.

It is a show that deserves deeper cultural critique and analysis!

Amazing Post!
I've too started recently watching EHT and I'm fast becoming hooked to it. Although it has such dark content matter watching such emotional scenes doesn't leave you drained. In fact the darkness doesn't overwhelm you with despair but like Durga's character wants to make you burn a path to reach the light at the end of the tunnel.
The casting is spot on in all areas. For me the three key players to date Dugra, Shurya, Sakshi are all God - Given gifts to the acting industry.
Wow how much can Sanjeeda portray with her eyes?! Not only that but with every line that she utters she can ring it dry with the emotional impact.
Her flirtatious banter, her tear-drenched grief, the ghost of Nitya hidden in her sorrow, and most brilliantly the fury of her rage.
Vatsal seems born to the part of the sadistic playboy Shurya. It's almost disturbing how he can be oh so perfect, charming and sweet one moment then switch to a vicious, brutal and homicidal nut the next. Shurya is the epitome of all of humanity's darkest sides comprised into one and that thought alone makes me shudder. Especially as he portrays himself as the poster boy of an ideal mate.
But Simone is the real powerhouse performance to watch. As the sweet-faced, well-spoken, highly educated and powerful industrialist Sakshi she stuns one and all with her beyond the average boardroom ruthlessness, razor sharp mind, and scathing tongue.
I'm so looking forward to seeing Durga's journey to gain justice. I don't to see her defeat Payel's culprits I want to see her destroy them. I want Sakshi to cry tears of blood as she watches her son slowly, painfully and unwittingly allow Durga to lead him to his doom.
I want Raj to watch as his empire and name is ground into the mud and rot and die away a complete unknown in the city he once ruled with an iron fist
And most of all I want Shurya to be torn to be pieces, I want to see him driven well beyond the limits of sanity, I want Dugra to obliterate him.
But whilst normally I can't wait for finale I have to admit watching the show I realize that justice like a well-cooked meal might take a long while coming but in the end it is always worth the wait.
