Anybody here who has seen this serial?

It used to come on Sony in 1999 -2000. (When serials used to be once a week and had good scripts instead of usual Saas Bahu.)

It starred Pallavi Joshi. A girl goes into a coma on the day of her engagement (to her boyfriend). Her grandparents wait months for her to recover, when the girl is found pregnant. She was raped when in coma. I remembered a dialog said by her. "I hope the rapist gets a sentence of 14 years. And a death sentence at the end of it." Perfect punishment for Rapists I believe

Wooow it must be an interesting show.

Even death sentence is not enough for them. They should get tortured. Cut their precious part. 🤢

Ahead of its times.

I wonder how can anyone be so starved that he rapes a girl who is in coma!

Shows like that are not made anymore.

Yes I do remember the show

I had not seen all the epis but I do know the end 😊

Another noted example is the movie Siskiyaan, based on 2002 Gujrat riots where a doctor in a rescue camp rapes a blinded victim (of a different religion), just to vent out his frustration of seeing people of his religion being killed.

She gains her sight and seeks revenge

I have seen the film, but I won't mention their specific religions, because No, I mean, NO religion patronizes such a vicious crime

Yeah I remember this show, I watched it. It was very good. This was before EK days.

Wow that seems so interesting but you need a strong heart to eat something like that. Like how can somebody be so ruthless to do such a disgusting thing. Even a death sentence is not enough for a crime like this. Btw what was the show called if you remember?

The name of the topic is the name of the show. Alpviram means coma in Hindi.

There was a time when sensible things were made for television. Earlier, they lacked infrastructure but had good ideas. Now they lack good ideas but have enough infrastructure to cover the whole of Europe in their shows.😆

Alpviram, I think I had caught some of it as you say Pallavi Joshi was the victim.

I know about this show but I was not able to watch the show because I was a kid at that time and my parents stopped me. But can anyone tell me what was the storyline of the show?
