I like Durga's single minded focus and her resolute nature.
This show is about a woman fighting for justice of her sister and to take revenge for destruction of her family at hands of that rapist Shaurya and his animal parents Sakshi and Rajnath. It should remain that only.
No way can Shaurya and Durga be paired. Shaurya deserves to be hanged for murders and rapes committed by him. No girl with mind in right place would love Shaurya.
Even if Dev is introduced I hope the essence of the show and strength of Durga's character remains the same. I cannot see her weak or crying on another man's shoulder. I more interested to see how she metamorphosed into Durga and planned this revenge (rather than romance).
In past also we had shows like Udaan, Shanti, Rajni, Tejaswini with strong female leads who had more to do in life than romance or saas bahu stuff. Why cannot we get the same in new and modern era now?
I agree with Dolly that we need to do away with this thinking of women needing a man or being incomplete without a man or without having kids! Grow out of this and respect individuality!
I am sorry if I sound judgemental but honestly I find shows get dumbed down when romance and saas bahu stuff enters. Even forums might buzz in activity but quality is no longer same. Today we discuss different issues, try to figure out mysteries and clues to break the suspense. Tomorrow we'll have people hyperventilating over just hugs, eyelocks and demanding more of such scenes irrespective of where the story goes, how many loopholes are there and how much creative liberty is taken?
I will be okay with less TRPs and a little low activity in forums than see romance.
I am waiting to see Durga expose and wipe out Goenkas, that slimy trio shamed, stripped of their masks and power and rehabilitation of Payal...with the poor girls finally living normally and happily. Till then I want Durga to wipe out all those manipulators and fake witnesses too who maligned her poor sister's character giving in to threats and lures of Goenkas.
So far the politician's son has been shown out of Durga's net even though he is accomplice of Shaurya in this crime. I wonder when Durga will also begin to focus on him.
