In Ek Hasina Thi This Week, Shaurya arm twists Rajnath into taking his proposal for Durga to Dayal. Durga is unable to get the exact location of Divya's whereabouts from her informer and is delayed. Here Sakshi grills Divya about Durga and is irritated when Divya says she doesn't know Durga at all. The goons now bring Bagchi to this location on Sakshi's orders.An overwhelmed Bagchi cannot pretend blindness on seeing his daughter anymore. When grilled by Sakshi, he promises Sakshi that his meeting with Durga was a complete coincidence. Sakshi is now convinced that the chapter from the past is truly over and she tells the goons to burn the father daughter alive. Durga has a close shave in saving Bagchi and Divya.The person who helps her do so is none other than Akash. It is revealed that Akash was Durga's informer who kept giving her information on what the Goenkas were upto.Durga promises Divya and Bagchi a safe future away from the Goenkas. Rajnath proposes the Durga Shaurya alliance to Dayal who promises to think it over. Shaurya is really upset that he is not getting his way. A dashing young man flies back to Kolkata to find out more about Nitya and Payal. He is none other than Dev Goenka, Shaurya's first cousin and Nitya's best friend who has come back to seek some answers about the past.
