Please don't close this post. It is related to this show. In this show I really really want Shurya to be punished for his crime and for what he did. But I heard about a similar hang rape case. I live in canada but it was on the Toronto star newspaper and everyone was talking about it.

So did the girl Joythi get justice? Were all the men sent to jail for a long period of time or hanged.

I heard from somebody that she did not completely get justice.

Then this is related to Payal case ...

What was in the toronto star? Whose joythi? I should get the copy of the toronto star if you explain what the story in toronto star is about 😕

Joythi was a medical student who was raped in india.

She was badly injured and rushed to the hospital in I think London for somewhere I don't remember

And she died...

oh this was in new Delhi I heard about about it while I was there in India two years ago it was all over the paper It happen before I arrived in India It refers to Payal''s case

her real name is not known as in India victim name is used so she was named Nirbhaya

there were 5 men (accused )
1 was minor so is in juvenile jail (i am so angry he was just few months shot of 18 but as rule say he is minor )
1 did suicide
3 other were given death penalty
