I have been watching EHT since the day of its launch. Initially I was very skeptical as I didn't really enjoy the opening episodes but I decided to give the show some additional time. And I'm glad I did.
I like the premise of the story and also the way the story is being told. And of course the cast is doing a fabulous job. To me Simone Singh has been the star of the show so far. I remember as a young woman I used to watch Simone Singh in a fiction show called Heena where she played the role of a very innocent muslim girl who gets married to a man in love with another woman. He eventually divorces her. From that to her role in EHT, its been quite a journey. Her body language, her diction, the class elegance she portrays, just lights up the screen. And May I also add she looks stunning in every single frame. Ayub Khan is good in the limited screen time he gets. Vatsal is doing a good job as the devilish but sugary sweet, charming womaniser. However I'm not entirely impressed with Sanjeeda so far. But she has got better in week 2 so I guess with time she will only improve.
Overall I'm impressed and I hope to watch the show regularly. I hope audience support a different show like this and the channel and writers won't change their course due to ratings pressure.
