Thank Zoya 😳. I agree, this piece was so me. I had once wished for this exact scene and hence penned it down.

Word count. .that's my Everest. I did want to squeeze in a little more conversation between them but that would then make me compromise on the initial part of the story and that I didn't prefer. There was a lot to pour in there, except the length proved to be a deterrent and so I made it as convincingly compact as I could.

I welcome the honest feedback😊..I might continue this if any thing specific strikes me for the next part, perhaps a couple of dates between them. Can't say.

Right now though, since I am already saddled with an unfinished story, it's not an immediate priority. The fact that a few readers have bought the plot the way it is and liked it enough, adds to my procrastination 😃.
