This hits me a lot. I don't know why it's an assumed thing that if you have lived in the West then you have indulged in lots of relationship or have a peculiar dating trend like if you have lived in the West it's a must. Frankly speaking, before this scene I always thought (almost sure) that Shravan would have dated girls during his stay in London, that perhaps to get over Sumo he would have indulged in relationships/Giles's like most guys of his age do. But when he opens himself like this, I was just...
I don't know, I think it hit all the more because here she was getting married with another and he, even though he had the opportunity, it didn't even cross his mind to look around because he was commuted to Sumo.
Shravan Malhotra was not perfect by all means but he knew how to love.

Even i thought about it for a sometime too.Mjhy bhi yahi laga tha k he would have had tried something like this but then again do you really think real life mein aisa ho sakta hai? Coz i sort of have developed a habit of relating things with reality as well so i don't think aaj kal k zamanay mein koi aisa shaks dekhnay ko milay ga...and if there is any tu woh bhi 1000s mein ek adh hi hoga.
