Yaar kya puch liya Anu!! Ab toh mujhe mat rokna apna dil halka karne she...

Man life without EDKV has been difficult, how many times have most of us said that?! Lost count now...

EDKV was a gem in its own way, something new and fresh. Not the typical Indian telly drama. It catered to us the new gen.

But just like any fairy tale ours also had a villain and it ruined our 30 min of peace. This would not have been difficult if our show had ended properly but it was scrapped, brutally so...

I have stopped watching TV as everything reminds me of us ShraMan and EDKV.

But the hit came when Sony launched its new logo!

When eveyone from all the other shows were called and they came in pairs I was only wondering who would have come from our show?

Nikki and Namik? Together? Holding hands? Or walking separately? Would Satyajit Sir accompanied them or Geeta ma'am?

I imagined Kapil and Namik's exchange... Two witty people together on stage...and his height of course would have been mentioned.

How he would have laughed and snorted at silly jokes. Nikki would have looked so pretty...

What would our new montage looked like?

All of this left and confined only to my imagination...

Life without Shravan and Suman looks dull but its OK now I guess? If they had been happy then we would have been too, at least I would...

Uff kitna bol diya...sorry agar zyaada bore kiya ho toh apne emo post se

Without edkv even when I saw Namik in trip yestetday.. For Namik.only I watched it yesterday first time...I felt pain and sadness bcoz it was Adil and not shravan... Though he was very good in it but still it hurts and that shows how much edkv is in my system...

LIFE WITHOUT EKDV- feels like a breakup after an intense love story...a dull ache that just doesn't go...it's only the OS and FFs here and the insta and twitter updates that are shared that keep me going ...
My condition is so pathetic that I actually get excited even if I spot any character from EKDV in some other series...like when I spotted Dhurandar in Dangal. ..or the Jubin Nautiyal song in Kaabil...or literally gulping down a lump in my throat when I saw Namik finally on screen yesterday. .
I have literally stopped watching any serial. ..TV is switched on only for the music channels. .and like minded people here seem more close to my heart than the ones who never got attached to EKDV
So that's my life without EKDV😛...probably time to visit a shrink!

Hi Anu😊,

This was jale-pe-namak in an efficient manner😭
So allow me to explain my heart's pain taking help of lateRabindranath Tagore's short story POSTMASTER.
quoting an adapted version-
"So the traveller, borne on the breast of the swift-flowing river, consoled himself with philosophical reflections on the numberless meetings and partings going on in the world"on death, the great parting, from which none returns.

But an EDKVian had no philosophy. She was wandering about the forum in a flood of tears. It may be that she had still a lurking hope in some corner of her heart that her beloved show would return, and that is why she could not tear herself away. Alas for our foolish human nature! Its fond mistakes are persistent. The dictates of reason take a long time to assert their own sway. The surest proofs meanwhile are disbelieved. False hope is clung to with all one's might and main, till a day comes when it has sucked the heart dry and it forcibly breaks through its bonds and departs. After that comes the misery of awakening, and then once again the longing to get back into the maze of the same mistakes."

Indeed, inscrutable are the ways of a woman's heart!😉

Cas... you spoke what I had in heart too.
That day while watching TKSS I kept on ranting to a much irritated hubby... mera achcha show band kar diya aur ye sab bakwas shuru karne ke liye. Specially when the Crime Patrol guy came in I did a walk out.

I kept thinking if Nimik were sitting there and then Kapil walking about his height and trying to flirt with Nikki while keeping a eye on her tall giant of a hubby !! 😆

but alas 😭

Life to aisi hai ki bas no more TV for me. IF and wattpad pe OS,FF,SS dhundti aur updates ke liye wait karti hu. December is the worst month anyway since there is not much activity to dil behlaane ke liye I have rewatched the entire series thrice this month. 😭

Is hafte to forum bhi aisa thanda padaa hai ki I am on the verge of crying..and hubby will think I am PMS-ing. 🥱

I literally wake up in the middle of the night sometimes at 3-4am to read story updates from wattpad authors.

189 pages of the forum index are almost checked thoroughly everytime to find an update of a story long forgotten...

Kitni Dafa Subaha ko meri tere forum pe baithe maine shaam kiya !! 😭

Hi Anu,
Life Without EDKV:
I remember a song whenever I think about life after EDKV.
"Tum juda ho kar hame aur pyaare ho gaye
The kareeb to door the ab hamare ho gaye".
I feel this way because when our show was on I would be happy after watching it, and wait for the next day. But since it ended I am all after something related to it. Be it watching re-runs, vm's or being on the forum reading every story here.
Stopped watching TV completely. I just don't believe it, I'm just online most of the time busy with something related to this show.
Thanks for this post Anu. Kinda feeling good after saying what was in my mind.

Lubna.
