Part 5
Wedding preparations start in both the houses. Both the families want to do their best for their children.
It was Mehndi function in Tiwari villa. The Malhotra ladies were present and were also getting mehndi done on their hands. Suman was getting beautiful design done on her hands. Preeti was teasing Suman not to put Shavan's name in Hindi or English so that Shravan can search for the same. Suman was blushing and remembering how she had said Shravan ka Sumo, Sumo ka Shravan during Preeti's mehndi function. She also remembers how Aditya had written his name on her hand and how Shravan had watched feeling hurt and left the place. She was praying that he does not come since she was worried if he would remember that incident and it might affect him.
Suddenly Shravan enters and teases Sumo asking her where has she written his name on it. Sumo does not reply and asks him to go to his house.
Shravan comes and holds her hand and says he will look for his name. When he holds her hand he suddenly remembers the incident when Aditya had written his name on Sumo's hand. He pushes her hand away and walks out of tiwari killa in anger. This is what Sumo was afraid of. She was worried for him. She tried calling him but he does not pick up.
Shravan is angry, irritated all emotions rolled into one. He also feels that he is missing something, something very important which has happened in his life. He is unable to pinpoint it. He is very frustrated. He rushes into his room and vents his anger on all the things in the room. He breaks the mirror, pushes off the books from the table and what not. Finally spent, he lies on the bed and dozes off.
Sumo looks at him sleeping. She could see creased lines on his forehead and she knows that he has been thinking, trying to remember the past events. She bends slowly and kisses his forehead. She leaves the room. Before she reaches the door a hand pulls her wrist, turns to see Shravan holding her. He pulls her by the waist and brings her close to him. He slowly pushes her hair behind her ears and lovingly caresses her cheek. Sumo closes her eyes and enjoys the feeling of Shravan's hands on her cheek. He places a kiss on her forehead, on both her closed eyelids and on both her cheeks. Sumo opens her eyes missing his warmth. She finds him smiling at her and looking at her eyes which are showing so much of emotions. He lifts her and seats her on the table in the room. Now she is on the same height as his. He whispers in her ear "I will get a cramp in my neck if I have to bend down and kiss you". Before Sumo could retaliate, he starts kissing her. It starts as a slow kiss and quickly turns into a very passionate one. Her hands hug him and caress his hair at the back of his neck. Shravan finds that very arousing. He mutters Sumo...She takes that opportunity to thrust her tongue inside his mouth and their tongues start their dominating dance. He moves his hand inside her top and rubs her back. She traces her finger on his back. Both of them do not want to stop their kiss but for want of air they stop. He meets her forehead and with his and places his face on the crook of her neck. She loves the feeling of his beard on her neck, she mutters a happy hmmm. Both of them say at the same time I love you and hug each other contently.
Pushkar comes inside Shravan's room and finds it in a mess. He calls the servant and gets the room cleaned up. He knows that Shravan must have remembered the aditya-sumo mehndi wala incident because Sumo had told him that Shravan left her house in anger. But Pushkar decides not to talk about it. He wakes up Shravan.
Pu: Bhaiya bhaiya utho...
Shravan hears Pushkar and wakes up to find that it was all a dream. He smiles.
Pu smirks and says: Bhaiya koi romantic dream tha kya? Theen din me aapke shaadi hai. Please wait till such time to make all your dreams come true. Come let's go shopping. Preeti also wants to buy something.
So Pushkar, Preeti & Shravan go shopping. Preeti wants to buy a lehenga and goes to a shop. Shravan roams around and sees a mannequin dressed up in a beautiful orange and gold lehenga. He buys it for Sumo since it will look very pretty on her. He sends it through Preeti to Sumo, sends her a message. I'm sure you will look very beautiful when you wear this lehenga along with your mother's jewels on our marriage. Sumo replies I'm sure of that since I am marrying my childhood sweetheart... Shravan's heart fills with love for her on reading her message.
In the evening Sumo sends him a message asking him to meet her at the park at 6 pm. He comes to meet her.
Sh: Great improvement Sumo..you are on time...kya baat hai?
Su: Shravan jokes apart, I want to talk to you about something. You know that I love you very much right?
Sh: Of course, I know that. So...
Su: So I am going to ask you for a favour. Please mana math karna. Mere liye please haan karna.
Sh: Why such a build up Sumo, you know I cannot refuse you anything.
Su: I know that...but this is something which is a very sensitive issue. That is why I am requesting you to consider this favour for my sake.
Sh: Out with it, Sumo.
Su: Shravan I would like Nirmala aunty to attend our wedding. Please Shravan don't say no... consider this favour for my sake, pleaseee
Saying this she looked at Shravan's face. Shravan gets angry, got up and was about to go. Sumo pulled back his hand and pleaded to him with her eyes...
Shravan leaves the place. Sumo was disheartened. How can a mother not attend her own son's wedding? She wanted Nirmala to be part of the wedding because she also knew that once Shravan regained his memory he will feel very bad for having left out his mother during their wedding. She could not think of any other way to make Nirmala attend their wedding. She goes home very sad. Nirmala meets her. Sumo tells her that she was unable to convince Shravan to allow her to attend the wedding.
Ni: It's okay suman beta. I will watch it from afar. I know you have tried your best.
Sumo receives a message on her mobile. It is from Shravan. "Okay, am saying yes to your request because I cannot see you sad. Agreed only for your sake..."
Sumo is overjoyed. She sends him a reply... Thank you lambu. I love you mere chasmish.
She shares the happy news with the tiwaris and Nirmala.
