Did anyone see the chat the cast had on Periscope? I get the gut feeling something is up that they are not allowed to reveal just yet...am I the only one who gets that feeling? Anjali mam kept saying we'll see you really soon...She also said if we keep writing to them, they may have season 2...so, what do you guys say? Should we try?

I just say we don't lose hope for a few more month...and I heard somewhere that they will take a small break! In the interview with that lady from sony.

Don't know why but I had a gut feeling that show would really end when Salil Sand tweeted about the 40 epis...also had a discussion regarding this on the forum. Now my gut feeling tells me...this show might come up with a season 2...though I think Nikita might not be a part of it.

There is a possibility...Always have been there... Season 2 can happen if fans keep demanding for it...

@Puba Even though both Namik and Nikkita are very attached to ShraMan and EDKV and that is a very strong reason for him and her to say 'yes' for 2nd season if there will be any... But if she wouldn't be there, more than 50- 70% of us won't watch it if not 100%...There is no one here who can deny that anyone, anyone can play Shravan like Namik, better ka toh sawal hi nahi banta...Or anyone who would want to see an other face as Suman and Sumo... They can say whatever they want but jab they will any other face trying to copy Suman-Sumo style, they will cringe...Sony and Ph know that, so if any of them refuses, there is not going to be a 2nd season at all...

But guys what if they meant that EDKV is gonna star on some arabic channel... I always felt that maybe when it becomes a huge hit there, Sony and Ph will be forced to start the shoot again to give the channel who brought the right a better ending... Iss bahane we too will get to watch ShraMan, if not on tv, at least an online series...Who knows...

Season 2 does not need to have Sumo in it! They can show she passed away. A new season will attract new audience. So it's all good.

Edkv has left a deep impression in all our hearts. Not only because of the story but mainly due to the leads chemistry. If they come up with season 2 there will be comparisons with the previous season. They will have to tread this path very carefully. I doubt if anyone will take this risk. It will work if both agree to it which seems like a distant dream given the sudden wrap up and all the blame games. There is definitely a lot of murky secrets that r not out yet and I hope it stays like that for our sanity.

On one hand the Indian audience needs to learn to value content and storytelling. If the story is good...people should be willing to watch...rather than fussing over a missing/dead character. On the other hand the creatives of Indian telly have every quality in them...except creativity! So I doubt they will be able to pen a gripping story. Keeping these things in mind...I agree that a season 2 will be a huge risk. Nonetheless, life will be a boring bog without an element of risk!

I think season 2 is a great idea, the PH & Channel knows there is following for the serial. So they can confidently bank the episodes and we can have our show.

The cast can also have a normal life. I think working 24X7 can take a toll on anyone. This way the CVs can actually take the time to be creative rather than give us "dal"-walla episodes. I would like to see more humor. less kitchen politics, no poison bottles or covering heads, a modern show with regular problems.

I would love to see the story develop on why Nirmala never contacted Shravan, how Ramnath owns up to his problems, how Ramnath finds out it is Kamini who got them married, will he still consider keeping the family together. How shravan outgrows his misogyny, how Suman outgrows her arrogance ...

So many avenues to pursue... I say season 2 definitely!
