Hey people hope all of you are doing good. Now that we have a clearer understanding of where things are heading, its pretty much peaceful, for me at least. When I saw yesterday's epi I felt absolutely cheated and hopeless but later Namik's clarification that the epis were shot well in advance and they didnt have the chance to think of an alternative script and re-shoot, did make me feel better. So now that we know that how everyone had a reason they had to chose a path and that this is a scenario where playing blames games is the last thing we must do, I was just wondering exactly where did we lost our real EDKV all along. Ofcourse as Namik said, EDKV would have been back with a bang had future story played its course and tracks would start to resolve but well that never happened so leave it. So now whatever we had of the show, I feel we lost the true essence much before.
For me it had to be the point when ShraMan took a stand for their love in front of Ramnath. These two were just perfect till then. All their moments, their concern, their povs, the interplay of their pasts with the present, it was so well etched. Even when Sumo tried to make Nirmala and Shravan meet without his knowledge, it was such a beautifully flawed move by the lover within her. She just wanted to make her best friend come out of the hatred he has been burning in since years now. 😳 That was her wish, her yearning, to make the real Shravan come out of his shell of self-pity and self-imposed fear of rejection.
Later the way Sumo fought for PCT, her accident and his undying love and support to her, and how her accident made him accept his love with all its flaws and blemishes sans any fear, it was just amazing. And the last had to be the two epis before the start of the PreeKar wedding track. The cafe moment when she speaks her heart to him and tells him how she can never think bad of him followed by the rain moment where Shravan confesses his love in front of Ramnath with such pride and affirmation. That scene!! ❤️ It really made me have goosbumps,. Namik was so so amazing there. And last but not the least, when post a heartfelt stand by Shravan we got a feisty Sumo challenging Ramnath to stop his son from loving her if he could
I feel that was the show!! The ShraMan we all loved. That was the essence that kept us hooked. And it was for that essence only we sat through the slow poison that followed later...the PreeKar wedding drama I know the wedding itself, had least of PreeKar and most of ShraMan but the problem is that it wasnt centred around ShraMan's issues and their equation. It was all staged around PreeKar's rishta which was torturous to say the least.
Since then it has only been a waiting, a waiting to see these two talk some sense. A waiting to see these two feel something genuine about each other. But sadly that never came. Yes we did have a few moments here and there like the epi when Shravan sleeps in car but they were so random it didnt leave much impact.
How I wish the show had taken a different course after the the Ramnath-Sumo confrontation. There could have been a dozen alternatives. May be then we dont have been so disappointed. May be then the essence could have been maintained...💔
