Helllo All

I know all of us are sad because yesterday more than what the producer or any of the cast telling us about the show ending...the story itself remained in tatters...This is not we had bargained for...😭🤢

This is not the journey we had invested our time in for the last seven months...SS journey seemed to parody itself...I know

But, I want to know exactly where did this October 7 deadline was announced? Who released the ending date...

Yes, the show is ending sooner than expected but, the date if already fixed why are the channel denying it and the producer writing letters to the fandom now when this must have been communicated to them at least three weeks prior to that (In fact, since this show has never been promoted with no promos and all.. they must have known about it for quite sometime. My friend works in a rival channel, so know) and we do know parts of the scenes shown on yesterday and day before had already been shot before...

My question is how did October 7 became the d-day for this show...who or which site released this date?

And why would Sony provide the lame excuse that all top officials have left on a trip or what...The least they could have done was to confirm the show ending on the particular date before they left. And we live in an age of Internet...they could have announced it from anywhere in the world. Considering I believe the whole of the fanclub gave up hope and we did not trend like the other two days...they could have done it yesterday itself...Why didnt they?

I had asked the same questions, so let me try to give some answers. Neither the PH nor the channel have openly said that the show is going to end on October 7th. Whatever news we have on a confirmed end date is only from media houses. This is exactly why the whole this a mess.

If the PH knew that they had only that many episodes why did they ask us to "Keep Calm and watch EKDV" ? In that case the channel would have come out openly and said that this show is ending. They would have had another show in that time slot right ?

I have said from the beginning that this whole thing makes no sense at all. Is Sony that dumb to pull off 2 shows in 2 weeks ?

Indrani, The first time I saw was Tellychakkar article posted by the fan club. It had the date and confirmation from the producer (Dilip Jha). Not sure what has been going on behind the scenes but feel let down today :(

Nith I dont want to live for hundred years...give me back my story...why did they fool us? And to tell you he truth, I find the ph more culpable...they deserted their own baby! Whoa

Ok.. I don't remember where that date came from. But from the very beginning I heard that 7th is the last date n they wrap up shoot this week, I guess.

Nothing is making much sense in this whole scenario except for the fact that the show is seemingly going off air.. That too we are getting contradicting statements from everywhere...

Edited:: The IF article or the TC one had the date or maybe both had. Where DilipJha was quoted.

This PH had a winner on their hands n they are themselves killing it.. Plus the channel, after backing a beautiful project.. They are strangling it. We viewers are in the lurch...crying our hearts out.

I got up to study...but couldnt stop myself😆

That the show is ending ...we have kept hearing it for the last four months...But, now when Bade bhaiyya already off air...why not just give us the time slot of 9pm and let this story be finished in a month or half...

This date thing is fishy to me...the channel is still refusing to confirm the ending date...Are they mad or what? This is the same channel which gave us IPL a global concept and one of the most profitable business over the years...surely they do know that this story has its takers...why pull it off when it was just reaching a certain crescendo...

Sony has one of the best marketing brains in this GEC business...I am not getting it...

And this ph why are they ruining their own baby?

Thats the thing ...even Namik just a week and a half before had categorically denied that the show was going off air...how did this change turn out to be so sudden? Sony is no fool, though the ph are new ..yet, they were the same writers who had worked with Ekta ..which was also aired on Sony...so, they do have a working professional relationship with the channel. Also, the ph does know about the business...

And Sony's business sense in gauging the audience reaction is the best of the other GEC

And to top it all, Raj Baddan says that it is a rumour and the show is not ending. And one lady from Mumbai Mirror says there will be an article in the morning about the show not ending.

But the producer, the cast and crew give out other signals
