I was in no mood to post with Nikki in the hospital and Sony screwing the show... but now that Nikky is out, post is definitely due. Not a good day today... as the show is finally getting axed to accommodate Sony's favorite and sneakily shifting the blame on a sickly Actor!

Agreed the actor was very sick at a crucial juncture. But there are other shows that did manage to sail through similar rough waters. Which show has not had hiccups? In an industry which works 16 hours a day 7 days a weak, is sick leave reason enough to axe a show!! Dont happen at work place or legally or ethically correct. For all we know its the unhygienic work place that caused this problem in the first place!

I was attached to one other show in the past, Badtameez Dil. That got axed too but atleast the channel shifted it to a web platform and we got to see the story end. Still 3 shows replacing it failed consecutively, irrespective of the PH being those of the biggies, Ekta, Rashmi and the works. Justice served.

Am not sad cause EDKV is ending, but because its ending so abruptly and another show could be accommodated in that timeslot. If there is no EDKV I am not touching Sony with a barge pole. Never bothered watching another show or channel because of EDKV... but time for me to move to Ishqbaaz, after EDKV ends.

Seriously want the new show to fall flat on its face. Hope the fellow EDKV fandom would follow suite and not support the channel. Watch Sony shows only online. Never on TV! Let the new show sink.

Hope EDKVs curse hits Sony. Cause they maligned an actor for a decision that was made long back!! 😡 We were always living in dread of the new show and it finally happens.

and... The curse begins... 😡

All I wanted is at least month to properly end shraman story.

Had expectations from Sony that It would not turn out like other GECs and value content over nonsense, but ofcourse that was not to be

Don't think I will watch Sony too soon and replacement definitely never

I understand your emotions. For a moment even I want to wish bad for the shows that will follow, but I feel Sony is not worth any attention. Good or bad.!!

I never watched Sony, it was EDKV that made me watch it. Further I ll not.

Ideally would have refrained from posting when the tempers are so frayed...

This was a finite series...so I am not sure why the channel could not have given the fans a decent chance to enjoy the series end in a dignified manner...Just proves there is no value for creativity in this business...

They reap the benefits of fan support in the good times but when it comes to repaying the favour they leave them high and dry.

I don't know about curses...and I am a small fry to be able to say anything that will affect Sony's fortunes..but if Sony did throw the actor under the bus, its really unfortunate...

Proves might is right...Feel sorry for all those attached to this serial...the cast, crew, and last but not the least the fans...

Truth is...better show never last in indian tv...only ekki ma nd rashmi amma show exists...plus we r in best channel, who only has cid nd cp to show...

I don't think SONY should be banned and then the next show has Jenny, who's recently battled with her personal life and is now back with a bang. I'm not her fan but I think its unfair to ban one for another especially when she needs support. Let's wait for both Namik's and Nikita's next shows on whatever channel it might be...

I agree with you on one thing, the decision was already made and Nikki is merely the scapegoat. There are so many other tracks that could have been played out to rest Nikki, her presence could have been minimal, she fell sick even before the shaadi aired, right ? Can't we see how the other "shaadi" is being promoted and how ours was !

The thing is, if this was a finite series, why are they axing it now ? Definitely not TRP. Reporters had a TRP of 0.2 (at least thats what I read somewhere) and it ran its full course. The whole thing doesn't make sense. They are going to air Behad at 9, what are they going to show at 10 ? CP ? How will that bring them TRP ? If they don't have another show, why not give it a month ? The tracks can be closed gracefully instead of abruptly.

I am still waiting for a confirmation from PH or Nimik though, a part of me still hopes.

Its not against Jenny, but the channel's hasty decision and so called strategy. And we shouldn't forget that they are making Niki a scapegoat and blaming her for all this.

Its true that Namik-Nikita will make their come back with some another show, but as someone else said, we will not be able to see Shraman's story again.

Being a finite story, if channel had given sufficient time to end it, then no one would have blamed them. But the way they are treating the show, is really annoying.

This was a finite show and there was NO need for the channel to play these games. The show should be given a proper conclusion and they need to give it 1 month to wrap up the show in a good way with all the tracks being concluded and a good pace which is not rushed. Just when we think finally SHRAMAN get to share a room and we get to see them together all the time, the show is going to be axed.

I also feel they were just looking for an excuse to end the show and Nikita was a good excuse for them to use. Even the CV's confirmed the show is not going off air anytime soon and so did Namik who said that there are many issues between SHRAMAN that need resolving. But then suddenly this "about turn" and they decide axing the show is the better option? Kuch Hazam Nani ho Raha hai! Some politics are playing in the background as always and actors are always the "Fall guy" by default.
