Hey Zoya...
What a beautiful poem with deep crafted pain in it!
And how well you related Shravan's pain in each of the stanza!👏

Yesterday's episode brought out that pain in Shravan how much he regrets what he has done to sumo yet not ready to accept it to her!

How true our teenage sumo said, why don't you accept it to her, just one sorry could wipe off all the pain and make their life beautiful! but ego is bigger than anything else.

Zoya, I wish you could analyse the episode and I am sure you would do a great job.

Finally got around to this thread 😊 . Wanted to take time and comment, hence the delay.

I am going to talk about "The Will To Drown" here, I hope you don't mind Zoya.
That poem is perfect fit for Sumo 👏 especially the last 2 lines, its more of a surrender, trust on the higher power and surrender. Sumo reached that stage when she signed the dotted line. She is like, this is exactly what I wanted but it is not what I wanted. So much has been written and analysed since yesterday, so not going into that any further but 😉 want to add this from Rudyard Kiplng's "If" which I find fits Sumo

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: Hold on!'

And about "The Wanderer" it is so Shravan, so so Shravan that I have nothing
more to add.Thank you for introducing me to Rumi. I had no idea 😳 who he
is till you made these posts. Owe you one 😳

I know right Chaits!
It's that simple for them...
He is guilty, he is in pain, he just needs to apologise to her ..
That's all he wants..
We have so many amazing analysers!
Il be a misfit😆

I love poems. One reason being that it's open to as many interpretations as you want. There are no boundaries. You can relate it to anything you wish. But this poem seemed like written for Shravan only by the way you interpreted it. FABULOUS. AMAZING it is. Love ya 🤗
