Well people hope all of you are having a great weekend. SO I am back again with another of my random scribbling and this time its more of a wishful thinking. Just tried to jot down what could happen in the following week. This picks up from the precap. Here's hoping you like my effort.

Happy Reading :)

Your feedback will be anticipated.

The Healing - A ShraMan OS

"Miss Suman Tiwari, Aditya Ahuja has backed out from this deal. He told us he is going to buy this land from the original owners and become your guarantor but now he is out of the picture. He has ditched us at the last moment. And so have you..." one of the investors rebuked Sumo sharply.

Sumo had been left in a state of utter shock learning about Aditya's manipulations. Being absolutely clueless about what played behind her back and who owned the PCT land at the moment, she had felt baffled and broke. The only thing she knew she had to save PCT at any cost. PCT had been her dream, her passion and her sole identity, that one thing which made her realize her true potential and strength outside the shade of her family. There was no way she could let go of it.

"Mr. Bakshi, I understand your concern..." Sumo spoke after moments of silence, a hint of timidity gripping her tone. "Please trust me Sir, I will solve this as soon as possible, just give me some time" she requested.

"Trust? Ms Tiwari, you and your boyfriend back-stabbed us. Both of you are liars. Now why the hell should we trust you again?" the investor shouted, leaving Sumo startled for a second. "Boyfriend?? Where did that come from? Had Aditya told the investors about them being a couple much before they were engaged?" Sumo thought to herself, feeling disgusted at the tricks played by him.

"Kyunki aap jis se baat kar rahe hain Mr. Bakshi woh Delhi ki one of the best tiffin service chalati hai" a blaring voice from behind jolted Sumo out of her reverie, shifting everyone's attention towards the door.

Sumo exhaled softly at the sight in front of her. It was strange but she could feel an unfamiliar relief bubble up her gut as soon as her eyes met Shravan, who stood at the door in his usual unperturbed demeanor, spotting a sarcastic smile, arms crossed at his chest.

"Aapki tareeef...?" the investor asked with a puzzled expression on his face.

"Tareef karne ke liye filhaal aajkal kuch zyaada hai nahin Mr. Bakshi but phir bhi apki jankari ke liye, I am Shravan Malhotra, Sumo's...I mean Suman's husband" the pride and smugness with which Shravan uttered those last words, it made Sumo skip a beat. She won't ever understand this man.

"Dekhiye Mr. Malhotra aap inke kya hain, we don't care. Humein sirf is deal se matlab hai" the investor stated.

"Exactly Mr. Bakshi, main bhi yehi kah raha hoon. Aap sirf is deal par dhyaan dijiye, ye land kiski hai aur uske original papers kahan se ayenge, ye tension aap mujhpe chod dijiye. Kal tak land ke original papers ki copy or owners ka NOC apke paas pahunch jayega" Shravan confided with an assuring smile.

For a second, Sumo thought of interrupting Shravan but gave up on the idea the very next moment.
"Theek hai Mr. Malhotra agar aap kah rahe hain to, we can wait for another day. But not more than that" the investors told and left from PCT.

There were beaming smiles on everyone's faces as they realized that PCT was in safe hands now.
"Sumo ab to khush ho ja, dekh Shravan ne sab theek kar diya. Ab koi humse hamara PCT nahin cheen sakta" Preeta jerked playfully on Sumo's shoulder and thanked Shravan for saving their PCT while Sumo shot an angry glare in Preeta's direction.

"Preeta ismein thanks ki koi baat nahin hai...balki main tumse aur sabse sorry kehna chahta hoon...Uss din jo bhi hua...It shouln't have happened. Mujhe uss khane ko aise phenkna nahin chahiye tha. Tum sab ki mehnat thi woh...I am really sorry" Shravan confessed. There was a certain genuineness in his eyes Sumo couldn't help but believe his words. After a few moments, both Shravan and Sumo took everyone's leave and left together in Shravan's car.

An eerie silence had dawned upon the interiors of the car as Shravan drove their way back to the Malhotra Mansion. All this while, Sumo kept staring outside the window not sparing him a glance even once. Humongous guilt had already started to built up within Shravan as the happenings of the day flashed in front of his eyes. He felt ashamed of himself for trusting that creep Aditya against his Sumo and giving her so much pain. The way he had hurled all those insults on Sumo without even trying to dig the entire truth, it made him feel nauseatic and sickly in the stomach. Unable to endure her silence anymore he suddenly applies the brakes of the car bringing it to halt with a jolt.

A look at his drained expression and Sumo instantly understands the reason behind his action.

"Kya hum please chal sakte hain...Ghar pe sab intezaar kar rahe honge" she spoke blankly, still facing away from him.

"Sumo..." her name comes out of his mouth with a sigh as he draws a sharp breath. "I know this doesn't fix anything but phir bhi, kehna bahut zaroori hai, nahin kaha to shayad rah nahin paunga, I am sorry Sumo, Bahut dard diya hai maine tumhein, aur shayad uss dard ke saamne ye ek shabd kuch bhi nahin, par phir bhi, I am really sorry...I really a..am" his voice quivered under the strain of the thick lump that rose in his throat.

Sumo closed her eyes in pain, letting the held back tears flow down her face silently, still facing away from him.

"Kis Kis baat ke liye sorry bolna chahte ho Shravan" Sumo spoke after moments of pause, voice groggy and laced with tears. "Apni best friend par bharosa na karne ke liye ya phir sabke saamne us se hameshan ke liye dosti todne ke liye. Usse aur uski family ko bina bataye tahash mein aake court marriage karne ke liye ya phir bidaai ke waqt usse akele chodkar chale jane ke liye...Kis Kis baat ke liye sorry bologe Shravan...aur kyun? Kyunki shayad tumhare liye kabhi meri feelings ki koi value hogi hi nahin... Tumhare liye meri self-respect, mere decisions, meri choices sirf ek zidd hain meri jo bas tumhein kisi bhi tarah todni hai...Isliye please sorry mat bolo Shravan...mat bolo sorry jab tum samajh hi nahin sakte...mere nazariye ko, meri feelings ko...aur mere pyaa..." Sumo stopped with a jolt, realizing she was about to tell her feelings aloud. A silent drop of tear made it's way down Shravan's face as he saw her sniff sharply, trying to swallow the sobs that clogged her throat and again facing away from him.

A sharp stabbing pain gripped his heart as he returned back to the steering wheel and turned on the ignition once again, this time absolutely no exchange of words between them, till they reached home.

A few rasams followed once they arrived and entered the home for the first time as a married couple. Sumo had sensed Ramnath's displeasure upon seeing her but tried to stay happy for the sake of rest of the family members. Post dinner the newly married couple was sent to their love nest with sounds of stifled giggles and endless teasing following behind.

Sumo sighed uneasily looking at the elaborate decorations in the room. It was strange how she had started to weave dreams about her married life with Shravan but now that it was all happening in real, she felt absolutely emotionless and hopeless. She took in a deep breath and turned away angrily, only to find him right in front of her, his face, just centimeters apart from hers. Sumo gasped as her eyes fell upon his parched lips, lingering on them for a few passing seconds. Adrenaline rushed through his veins as he felt her soft warm hands pressed mistakenly against the ruggedness of his chest.
"I am sorry.." Sumo whispered slyly and immediately moved her hands away bringing him out of his stupor.

"Woh maine tumhare liye cupboard ka half portion khali kar diya hai" he mumbled to her in a low voice, trying to avoid looking straight in her eyes "abhi tum usme adjust kar lo, maine chachi se kah diya ki woh ek extra cupboard kal humare room mein rakhwa dengi"

Sumo nodded and decided to keep her suitcase as it is in the cupboard as she would have to anyway arrange them in the new one. She tried to lift the suitcase but it was too heavy for her.

"Main rakh deta hoon.." Shravan asked watching her struggle with the suitcase. She looked up at him for a fleeting second and then looked down once again, trying to lift the suitcase all by herself.
"Com'on Sumo ab agar main tumhara suitcase rakh dunga to ismein bhi tumhari self-respect kam ho jayegi kya" he told her off in frustration and tried to lift the suitcase with a jerk when suddenly a wince escaped his mouth and the suitcase dropped from his hand with a thud.

Sumo fretted with concern as soon as she saw him shudder with pain, clutching tightly onto his arm.
"Shravan!!" she quickly sat by his side and kept a hand on his shoulder feeling absolutely worried for him. "Shravan tum theek ho na...please btao mujhe kya hua hai...kya hua hai tumhare haath mein..." as soon as Shravan sensed her panicked voice, he immediately sat up and pulled his hand away from her hold.

"Kuch nahin bas aise hi" He spoke, trying to look away from her. "Kya bhara hai tumne iss bag mein...mera to haath hi tut jata" he quipped.

"Shravan tumhein pata hai tum mujhse jhooth nahin bol sakte" she made him turn towards herself by his arm.

"What the hell is wrong with you Sumo...maine kaha na main theek hoon...please tum meri chinta mat karo" he again pulled his hand back from her and faced away.

"Shravan tum jante ho main nahin mane wali...Dikhao mujhe kya hua hai tumhein" Sumo literally ordered now and he had no option but to budge in. He unbuttoned his shirt and removed it slowly, trying to not scare her another time.

Creases of concern spread across Sumo's face as she saw the dozens of scratches and blood marks on his arms and shoulders. His shoulder had swollen up badly and turned a tint of blackish blue.
"Shravan ye sab..." she quizzed with worry, trying hard to keep tears at bay.

"Main aaj Aditya se mila tha Sumo" Shravan confessed leaving her perplexed and shocked. Sumo could not believe her ears when she came to know the truth. Aditya had tried to kidnap and beat Shravan! That means for all the time she had been so angry on him for leaving her alone like that, he was actually in Aditya's captivity. She felt extremely hurt and concerned at the same time, even scared to imagine what she would have done had anything happened to him. A few silent drops of tears escaped her eyes at the thought which didnt go unnoticed by Shravan.

"Sumo tum ro rahi ho..." he moved closer to her and cupped her face gently. "Sumo main theek hoon ek dum...dekho kuch bhi to nahin hua mujhe" he tried to console her but she was sobbing now. In a spur of the moment, Sumo looked into his emerald eyes and flew her arms around his waist, and took him into a bone crushing hug, head rested firmly on his chest. Shravan's heart fluttered beneath his ribcage as he felt the warmth from her cheeks glisten the skin of his torso. This time he felt like letting go off all his guards and giving into the passion of the moment, he pulled her closer to his chest, tightening his arms around her slender body, letting the years of longing melt in the passion of that embrace. The two of them stayed like this for a few passing seconds before Sumo broke the hug, pulling herself slightly away from him.

"Main first aid box lati hoon...warna dard bad jayega" she tried to leave but he held her by the arm.
"Agar tum door jaogi to dard badh jayega Sumo" he smirked, and she gave him her typical "Thats such a pathetic joke chashmish" look.

Sumo quickly grabbed the first-aid box from the cupboard and sat by his side, applying ointment on all his scratches and his scars and kissing away his winces with her warmth. And this was how they spent the whole night, curled up to each other, healing years of pain with their undying love.

Loved it! I think the show needs to start clearing the smaller misunderstandings step by step to reduce the negativity between the two. Both of them need to come on the same page first and rekindle their friendship to understand each other. Its their friendship that brings out the best in each other and that is what is needed at this point.
Great os!
