Ok, but Sumo doesn't try to find middle ground either... that frustrates me... she could've trumped him by proposing a solution, but she doesn't! it's a total warped image of the modern woman that we get!

I dont think Ramus name had anything to do with it. She could have done it for Shravans feelings. Its not necessary to bring ego in everything. She could have said okay u can do one function out of engagement n marriage. Or least she could hv dodged saying ask nanu abt this. I know hes wrong, but Sumo ko to nahin pata.
