Chapter 6Vandy & Pushkar leave ShraMan alone to talk. He walks near her, Kamini comes & takes Suman with her. Shravan gets sad, Suman giggles.
Kamini gives familial jewelleries to Suman to wear in "Muh Dikhai" ritual. Kamini misses Nirmala, as mother in law gives jewellery to daughter in law. Suman says she is also Shravan's mother, so she's her mother in law. Kamini gets happy & blesses her. Suman touches her feet. Kamini says Vandy to help Suman. Vandy happily agrees.
At evening.
Vandy is helping Suman to wear saree as the saree is heavy & none can wear it alone. Suddenly she remembers that she has some household chores yet to complete. Shravan enters there mistakenly & apologises seeing Suman holding the saree in body incompletely.
: Sorry! Sorry!
: no no Shravan bhaiya wait! We need you here. Come in.
: What? Me?
Suman's eyes widens, Shravan gets surprised & confused, enters.
: Bhaiya, please help your wifey to wear the saree. I have to leave now.
: par, bhabhi how can I?
: errrh its so simple! 1st wrap the whole saree around waist like this...
Vandy gives instructions, Shravan listens carefully. Vandy is about to leave but Suman signals her how can he help her,
: Don't worry, your husband will manage all. All the best, Shravan bhaiya.
Vandy winks & leaves. Suman looks at Shravan with so much awkwardness. Shravan smiles nervously. He comes forward to help her. Suman gulps, moves backward a little. She holds her pallu tightly & closes her eyes. He notices her awkwardness. He goes near Suman, makes her wear saree according to Vandy's instructions, looking away from her, almost closing eyes.
: its done!
His statement breaks the awkward silence. She opens her eyes & sees him in the mirror. He sees her in saree & gets mesmerized as she is looking gorgeous. He gets closer to her, her chest is heaving. He leans on her, she closes her eyes. He leans on toward her ear, whispers.
: Suman, will go on a date with me?
She gets surprised & opens her eyes. They have an eyelock. She mutters hmm slowly. He smiles.
Someone knocks at the door, they break the eyelock. Pushkar says from outside to come fast, everyone is waiting. Shravan says they're coming. Shravan leaves when Suman wanted to thank him but can't. She looks at the mirror & smiles.

At hall room.
Muh Dikhai ritual goes on. Tiwari have arrived. Mami & masi meet Suman. She gets emotional. Daboo hugs Suman. Nanu, mama & mami bless Suman. Ramnath & Lalaji welcome Tiwaris.
Masi says all gents to leave hall room, as its only ladies' function. All gents are about to leave, Pushkar says they also want to enjoy the function but Vandy pushes him outside. Daboo asks if he can stay or not. Vandy pulls his cheeks & says no! Daboo also leaves. Ladies laugh.
All ladies perform the ritual, blesses the new bride & gifts her. Shravan, Varun & Pushkar are watching the ritual from kitchen window, Pushkar is teasing Shravan by the name of Suman. Varun gets an important call from office,he goes outside to talk. Shravan stares at Suman. One of the ladies praise Suman's beauty & says Shravan is lucky. Shravan smiles.
Kamini sends Vandy to kitchen to bring snacks for the guests, she sees brothers there. She pinches their ears.
: What are you two doing here?
: bhabhi it hurts!
: Why are you stalking? Learn something from my Varun, he is still working in office.
At that time Varun enters looking at his phone, apologises to Pushkar & Shravan for getting busy in phone. Vandy's mouth widnes seeing him, Pushkar & Shravan laugh out loud. Vandy takes them to Kamini & complains. All ladies laugh & teases Shravan. They say he can't stay without his bride for a single moment. Suman blushes. Masi laughs & blesses them to stay happy like this forever. All are happy. Boys leave. Suman smiles.
Guests are served snacks. Suman is walking in the corridor, someone pulls her hand & takes her to a corner, she is about to shout but Shravan holds her mouth by hand. She is surprised.
: Don't shout, its me!
: what are u doing here?
: Playing football, will you join?
: What?
: Arey obviously getting bored here. I have come to tell you something.
: Hmm?
Shravan looks at her lovingly with a sweet smile. Suman blushes. Preeti comes & interrupts, coughs. They get awkward & make distance.
: Don't feel so awkward jeeju. She's all yours. But Kamini aunty is calling her, for now I have to take your bride with me, you can continue this later after the function.
Suman gives a pointed look to Preeti, she ignores, winks & takes her inside. Shravan smiles.
Function ends. Tiwaris are leaving. Masi takes Suman to talk in private. She says she's very happy for her. She got so good in law, such loving husband. She says her mother's dream has come true. They hug emotionally. Tiwaris leave.

At night,
In Shravan-Suman's room.
Suman is taking off her jwellery. Shravan stares at her reflection in the mirror. She asks what. He nods & leaves to take a bath. Suman changes & goes to balcony. Shravan comes out from washroom after taking shower, shirtless. At that time Suman turns back & gets shy seeing him, she takes her eyes away.
: why u always forget that you're not bachelor anymore! A girl lives here!
He smirks.
: I didn't forget!
: don't u get shy being shirtless in front a girl?
: why should I?
: unbelievable!!
She blushes.
: Thanks!
: For this view?
: No, for helping me in the evening.
: Hahh. You welcome. We are going for dinner tomorrow.
: Okay.
At morning,
Suman brings coffee for Shravan, wakes him up. She says him to wake up quickly as its his first day at office. He gets up, drinks coffee. She chooses shirt for him & keeps it on the bed, with a chit & leaves for kitchen. Shravan comes out of bathroom, gets the clothes & chit. He reads the chit.
"JALDI KHATAM KARO NAHANA,TUMHE HAI AAJ OFFICE JANA"
He laughs out loud. She's cute.
At downstairs, after breakfast all family members are wishing Shravan best of luck. Kamini does the aarti. Suman is starring at Shravan. He takes elder's blessings. Pushkar, Varun & Vandy hug him & wish. He looks at Suman. They smile.

All the day long Shravan remained busy work. At noon, he comes to his cabin. He gets a lunch box on his table. He opens it & sees his favorite dishes, there is a chit also.
"TUMNE HAI MERI BAAT MANA,IS LIYE AAJ LUNCH MEIN TUMHARA FAVOURITE KHANA"
Shravan again laughs out loud. He takes out the phone & calls his drama queen wife.
: hello!
: hi!
: what was that?
: what?
: Shayeri!!
Suman blushes.
: woh...actually...
: hahahah. Accha btw thanks for the lunch!
: you're welcome!
: Have you eaten?
: Wives don't eat before husbands.
: Seriously? Suman, you're highly educated modern girl & talking like so old fashioned.
: Hello! Education never make us forget our customs. And who told you I am doing this as responsiblity? No. I do this cause I love it!
Shravan gets stunned. Suman smiles.
: Accha, okay lets eat together.
: Oh please! Don't come at home now, Vandy bhabi & Pushkar will tease me.
: Arey listen turn on the laptop & come to skype chat, silly!
Suman smiles & does so. Shravan eats & says her to eat too. They eat & see each other.
: Do you remember we're going out today..
: Actually, sorry we can't. Aunt's friends are coming at home, I have to attend them.
: Oh thats ok! You carry on! Have a good day. Bye.
: Bye, hubby.
They end the call.
