Chick, finally you are back with a bang!!

Chick, Nith - you guys are going to be the death of me! Been vacillating all day, and now this! But I love it... It actually keeps the fairy tale going for a little while longer 😊 And the hopeless romantic that I am (right there with you Nith!), I still believe in Shravan. I'm mad at him right now; if I could, I'd make him get down on his knees and stay there until he figures out the Sumo-Suman conundrum that he has lost his whole self to. I still think he is her knight in shining armor, just as she is his. Do you really have to Superman/Superwoman to be someone's knight in shining armour? I think not. You can have many a weakness, but as long as you are willing to challenge those weaknesses, face your fears, and fight for me, you're my hero! And these two have always been willing to do that for each other - even in their darkest hours.

For me it was when Ramu kaka made the deal with Suman. Eww that was!! How can he revere Tiwari and dislike, disapprove of the girl raised by the same Tiwariji with his sanskaars!!! It was all downhill from there with EDKV story and characterizations being TRPfied and butchered.

All the characters look like morons to me ATM.

Nanaji the once wise man more or less blackmailing Suman to agree to marry Aditya, Nimmo not listening to Sumo and assuming she is happy to marry 'her son', Abla Naari Suman and the super dumb, mean ML with a supposed law degree!!!!! I could go on and on...😆

Icing on the cake is the polka dotted, color blocked shirt vakil babu wore tonight. Did he really wear that or should I get my eyesight checked😆

Nith, today you got me with one simple line - "Whatever this marriage brings, Shravan is going to get better, simply because he knows that she cannot be anyone else's ."

I was gobsmacked when I read that line... DUH! Of course, this emotionally unstable child (as Chick describes him 😆) needs that reassurance. He needs some kind of stability before he can collect his wits and begin his introspection, cross-questioning every witness, analyzing every situation. And there is going to be plenty of silence in that bedroom for him to begin his thinking. It's been a long time coming, but Sumo ka Shravan and Shravan ki Sumo are worth the wait - for me.

As for me there never seemed to be a proper upraisal in Shravan's character. During his intro when he said "Kaun Sumo", he was already at his worst then and he might have risen a bit but only to fall back again. Its damn clear that Sumo is the trigger of this bomb named Shravan, after marriage we're gonna get only the best of SM gradually. He seems to carry a huge complaint box but it can vanish in a moment if our magic memory box reappears.

Adult Shravan wants to understd only his point of view n does the same. he never tried to find out y she s behaving so weird towards him aft preekar marriage fixed. they both r clouded with ego nd misunderstding so badly not able to see love for eachother..

Hey Chick thats a unique pov and I respect yours. But mine differs from this especially if we talk about Shravan's inner strength. I think what all that guy has been throughout his life is pain and betrayal. And still he has always found that courage and hope to love people like insane. Thats his strength. He knows chachi hates him and wants everything for her sons still he he always respects her. He cares for Pushkar like his own li'l brother. Ramnath, however good or bad, has probably been the only person who stood by Shravan unconditionally which neither his mom could nor anyone else from his family. So his breakdown when he thought he had lost that one person too was pretty natural. And it didnt show him weak in any way. Coz if that was weakness even Sumo deciding to marry Aditya out of love for her nanu w/o thinking about Shravan's emotions and Aditya's life was a weakness. And much bigger!
