Shravan thought the best thing to do right now would be to go home and think of his next move. He needs to do something and that too fast...he needs to take action asap.

"I love you Sumo, mein sab kuch thik kardunga, ye mera wada hai tumse" he whispered as he looked at her one last time and walked away.

Shravan reaches home and heads straight to his room. He is still very lost in his thoughts about the whole revelation of his dad and how Sumo feels about him...He can't believe how shit his life is right now...everything going wrong.

"Sumo agar tumne muhje caf pe aakar milti tho ye sab nahi hota" Shravan says quietly trying to reassure himself.

"But ..but what if she didn't come to meet me coz of papa?"

His mind started to slowly put all the pieces together..."Why else wouldn't she had come? She was the one who initiated the whole tell your feelings over coffee then why did she back down from it? My Sumo would never back down from anything unless something very dear to her was holding her back"

"Shit!" He cursed outloud.

"Papa how could you...maine apne whole life mein apko sabse uche darja diya hai..aur aap ...kyun? Kyun muhje aisa bewakoof manaya? Mere samne ache banne ke natak aur Sumo ko blackmail karthe rahe? Aap etne giri huwe harkat karoge maine aisa kabhi nahi socha tha. Sharam aa rahi hai aaj muhjeee..."He sulked as few drops of tears slowly made their way down his cheek.

Shravan angrily stood up, pacing around his room trying to control his emotions.

"Maine Nirmala Ahuja..apne Ma ko kya kuch nahi kaha...sirf aur sirf iss aadmi ko sunne ke baad...Wah papa, aap tho mera brainwash etne ache se kare.. maine kya kuch nahi kiya tumhare liye aur aap..Tumne jo kuch bhi kahi hai mere zindagi bhar kya wo sab jhoot tha? Muhje aap par ab koi bharosa nahi hai... Aur ma, ma ke le kar apne jo kuch bhi batai hai uspe fir bharosa nahi hai. Aap etne chalak aur kamina nikle wo sab ab muhje pata chala..."Shravan said grinding his teeth in anger.

Shravan walked over to his bed side table and picked up the photo frame of him and Ramnath...He looked at his with anger and disgust.

"Mr Ramnath, ab aap dekho main kya kartha hoon" Saying that he threw the photo frame up against the wall, the glasses shattered across the room...

Shravan Malhotra. The Shravan Malhotra was broken. Broken due to his blind love for his dad. His dad who was a two faced bas***d who ruined his son due to his own selfish ego and feelings.

Shravan decided he needed to go for a drive to clear his mind out..he made his way downstairs where he was greeted by Ramnath.

"Shravan tum etne raath ko kaha ja rahe ho? Muhje tumse kuch baath karni hai" Ramnath said.

Shravan knew what he was going to talk about...he tried to calm himself down even though he couldn't even stand the fact that he was in the same room as this disgusting man...he somehow managed to stay calm and not bark off at him.

"Boliye papa" Shravan said sarcastically.

"Shravan you are my very wise son, I know you wont let me down with the decision you make. Suman Tiwari ko le kar I know what you think...I stand by you no matter what I think. I know it must be harder for you because Tiwari ji has said so but he is just stressed at the moment. I promise you ki humlog khud Suman ke liye acha ladka pasand karege." Ramnath said smilingly, proud of his efforts of brainwashing Shravan once again.

"Aha Ramnath Malhotra, don't you worry. Aap jo aise dekh kar smile kar rahe ho, wo sab kal ud jayigi." He thought to himself smirkingly.

"Don't worry papa, main aapko kal call karunga when I tell everyone my decision" saying this he walked out of the house not even giving Ramnath another chance to open his foul mouth.

Sumo got dressed up and quickly made her way to PCT. She was tired of thinking, tired of everything, she needed a getaway to her favourite place where she can just be herself and do what she loves the most.

Sumo had reached PCT in the early hours of morning...it was only 7am and she had already made so many dishes...She was working like a crazed women..or more so burning herself out.

Slowly other workers made their way to work...they were surprised to see Sumo back at work already, her marriage had ended and here she was working away like nothing had happened..

"Sumo tu yaha kya kar rahi hai? Tume tho ghar par hona chahiye?" Preeta said inquisitively.

"Preeta main thik hoon, ghar par waise bhi mood off ho jaye gat ho yaha chale ai" Sumo said quietly, only enough for Preeta to hear her.

"Sumo, ghar par kuch huwa hai? Kisine tumhe kuch kaha?" Preeta asked with a hint of concern visible on her face.

"Nanaji ne mere aur Shravan ki shaadi ki baath kari...usse lagta hai ki hum dono ek dusre se pyaar karthe hai...wo chahthe hi ki hum shaadi kar le" Sumo sighed.

"Haiii, ye tho etni achi baath hai...thu tho hamsha uss malHOTra ko.."Preeta stopped and didn't dare to complete her sentence as Sumo gave her the death stare...

"Preeta thu mera mood math kharab kar ab aur ja, ja ke kaam kar" Sumo said with a stern tone.

Even though she knew Preeta had caught onto her feelings about Shravan...She got los in his thoughts once again ...

The PCT doors opened with a force, startling everyone and making Sumo come out of her trance. It was Shravan ..he walked in with style. A gust of wind blew straight at Sumo... she could feel that something is about to happen.

"Sumo, muhje tumse kuch baath karni hai" Shravan said nicely...

"Muhje tumse kuch bat nahi karni hai Shravan...aur baath agar humare decision ke hai mai nanu se kahe dogi ki hum dono ke taraf se na hai. Tumhe kuch kehne ke koi zaroorat nahi hai." She said giving him a cold look.

"Ye ladki kya acting kar leti hai...actress raheti tho etni saari Oscars abhi jeet leti" Shravan thought to himself with a smirk on his face"

"Sumo tumne muhje caf mein kyun nahi aakar mili? Tumne muhje Pushkar aur Preeti ki shaadi mein itna kyun ignore kiya? Tumne Aditya se shaadi ke liye kyun haan kiya?" Shravan asked calmly...

"Shravan muhjse ye sab kyun pooch raha hai, hai bhagwan muhje pls strength do, main kaise ye sab" she thought to herself and tried her best to hold back the tears and swallow the lump that had formed in her throat.

He could see Sumos facial expression had drastically changed...she somewhat looked softer, more vulnerable...but withing matter of seconds her facial expressions changed again...

"Mera paas tumhare ye sab faltu baathe ko jawab dene ke liye time nahi hai" Sumo replied back fiercyly

Shravan gets pissed off as she is still withholding information from him.

"Kya tum muhje ab trust nahi karti ho Sumo? APNE Shravan ko nahi bataogi? Shravan cheekily inserted apne to add to the emotions.

"Apne? Mere? Mere Shravan...kaash aisa hi hotha" Sumo silently thought to herself.

"Agar meri yaadash sahi hai tho main recall karti hoon ki tumne aakar, yahi par...PCT ki undar, humare friendship thodi thi. Yaad hai tumhe? Ki main yaad dilwao ki tumne muhje kya kya nahi bola tha...ki tumne kaise sab cheez ko ruin kiya?" She said with a heavy heart anf tears visible in her eyes..

Shravans heart aches as he hears those words come out from her mouth. He knew he deserves to hear them but...He was unaware of everything else that happened,he was blind...

Shravan gets a bit furious thinking about it, yeah he was blind but she should know him, she should understand how he always misunderstands very quickly then regrets it.

"Tumne muhje kitna hurt kiya Shravan, tumne humari kai saal ki dosti sirf ek second mein thod di. Tumne kabhi socha ki mein kaise feel karti hoon? Nahi, tumhe jo sahi laga wo tumne kiya" Sumo added more fuel to the fire.

Shravan gets mad, "Why are you still lying dammit" he yells. Then immediately regrets it..

"PCT mein fir se scene mat create karo pls"

The workers are just silently watching the feud between the duo...no one dared to interrupt.

Shravan has had enough...

He goes towards Sumo and grabs her hand and makes his way out of the PCT.

Sumo tries to get her hand back from him back he has a strong grip on her, he looks back at her and says "ab main kabhi tumhara haath nahi chodo ga"

Sumo is shocked to hear that statement from Shravan, she is lost as she tries to process what he had just said...she quietly sits in his car without a fuss as she is still distracted by his words.

Shravan starts up the car and starts driving but Sumo is quietly starring at him...what did he say? What did he mean? She was lost in his thought the entire time.

The car soon came to a halt due to red light.

Sumo gets out of her trance, "Shravan tum ye kya kar rahe ho? Muhje nahi jana tumhara saath kahi...

"Sump please, muhje ab tumse aur nahi ladna hai, I want to make things right again" Shravan said with pained face

Shravan tum ye sab kya bol rahe ho kuch nahi samaj aa raha hai..muhje tumse door rehna hai, Ramnath uncle se maine wada kiya hai" Sumo thinks to herself silently.

Shravan was drowning in his own emoitons, tears had started to form "Sumo...kya tum meri dost banogi pls? Firse? Ek akhri baar? Im sorry maine tumse etna boora se behave kia, mai bina sab kuch jane patani kya nahi boldiya...muhje maaf kardo please?"

Sumos silence was killing him, Shravan was getting more anxious "Ek baar, Mein tumse sirf ek baar aur trust karne ko kahe raha hoo is friendship mein...please Sumo"

Sumo saw his face, it was clear he was hurting as well..she just wanted to cup his face in her hands and tell him that everything would be okay...but she controlled her emotions and just slowly nodded...how could she have had said no to him?

The rest of the drive was silent...They finally reached their destination after a while. They both got out of the car

Shravan had already called Preeti and Pushkar and nanu and everyone from home and told them to meet them there.

"Sumo aao"

Sumo was confused as to what was happening, why did Shravan bring her to court?

Sumo and Shravan made their way into the court, Sumo is still very unsure as to what is happening...everyone is present in the room...

Nanu, Preeti, Pushkar, Everyone from both their households. A few seconds later Ramnath walks into the court.

"Oh papa is here, now I can start" Shravan said excitedly.

"Papa im ready to get married to Sumo" Shravan said with a beaming smile.

Ramnath is shocked to the core as well as Sumo.

Nanu and everyone else in the room is ecstatic and delighted.

Sumo can't process what she just heard, everything that's happened in the last 24 hours is making it hard for her brain to function.

"Suman, isme tumhari kya decision hai?

Sumo is still shocked, she loves Shravan but she is not sure why he said yes..."is this some trick of his? Is he presurised into this? Or does he genuinely feel something for me...he said to trust him one last time for this friendships sake..." Her thoughts are running wild with different theories

Shravan looks at Sumo, with glint of love and hope in his eyes.

Shravan doesn't want to tell Sumo about his feelings yet because he knows if anyone gets the hint that he has confessed his feelings to Sumo then Ramnath will somehow find out and separate and create misunderstanding between them..

So shravan wants to get married to Sumo while making everyone think they still have misunderstanding so Ramnath wont know whats coming for him...Even though it is very unfair on Sumo but sometimes not all is fair between love and war.

"Suman" nanu calls out to her again.

Sumo looks at Ramnath...Ramnath looks like he is about to explode with anger.

Shravan sees this and says "Papa kya huwa...aap sumo ko aise kyu dekh rahe ho..thora smile wile karo aapke hone wali bahu hai wo"

Sumo looks at Shravan dumbfounded...

Ramnath looks like as if he is about to get a heart attack right there...

Nanu smiles and says "Sumo apne jawab do"

Ramnath questingly says "Shravan tumne muhje apne decision ke bare mein bataya nahi"

Shravan sarcastically replies saying "batane ka kyat tha dad, maine tho appne mind etna din pahile bana liya tha..aap tho jante hai ye baath"

Preeti excitedly blurts "haan di aur aap fir tho"

Sumo looks at preeti with daggers in her eyes.

Shravan jokingly says to sumo "uske aise kyun thak rahi ho...sabko humare bare mein pata hai tho pls sabke time mat waste karo aur haan kardo

Sumo looking at Shravan in disbelief "isse ho kya gaya hai..aise kyun behave kar raha hai"

Nanu says "Sumo kuch huwa hai kya? Tum etni der laga rahi ho"

Ramnath says "its good shes thinking before making decision, that's a good quality to have"

"Papa aap kiske side ho...mein yaha shaadi karna chahatha hoo aur aap yeh kya bol rahe hai..khush nahi ho mere liye aap? He indirectly taunts him.

"Ofcourse im very happy for you my son" Ramnath adds to his list of lies.

Shravan smartly says "tho kaho na aap, Sumo ko haan bolne ke liye..Mein aapko best bahu dilana chahatha hoo"

Ramnath smiles awkwardly

"Papa ...Sumo ko kaho na ki humari ghar ki bahu ban jaye..wo shayad aapki approval ko wit kar rahi hai kyunkin muhje kaun nahi pasand kartha" Shravan taunts him again.

Ramnath is baffled hearing all this

Sumo seems like her head is spinning from all hearing this

Ramnath atlast says "Sumo, agar tum humare ghar ki bahu banogo tho hume bahut acha lagega"

Nanu smiles, "Sumo ye kya...tumne ramnath ke fir kabul kara liya haha...kya baath hai sumo..kya jawab hai tumhara"

Sumo takes a deep breath and thinks to herself one last time. "Im trusting you on this Shravan, please mera trust mat thodna warna mein nahi seh paongi".

"Ji nanu, mein iss shaadi ke liye thayar hoon" she says these words whilst looking directly at Shravan. She notices how his face lights up and her heart skips a beat.

Dhak dhak, dhak dhak*
