Let's wait and watch the episodes before we judge. Nanu explicitly said that Ramnath will not intervene IF sumo and Shravan say yes. Which means that he doesn't have to pressure Shravs to say yes, just can't check mate them if they decide to be together. So somehow this will be Shrav's decision which Ramu will have to give his consent to. Bhangraaa

Same reason we wanted sumo to choose shravan over ramnath's promise. All that matters is the glove each other. Family eventually comes around.
