For all those who are saying , Adi's anger was justified because he is Suman's fiance and is demanding just a kiss , NO , IT ISN'T JUSTIFIED IN ANY WAY.
CONSENT is the MOST important thing in a relationship . Even if it's a kiss , making out or doing the deed. NO MEANS NO. Adi's anger is not justified at all. You can't just go and sexually assault a woman , your argument being that I am going to marry her . Even after marriage , if non-consensual sex is taking place it's RAPE. There are no arguments here.

The reason why marital rape isn't punishable is because many people support the ideology that once a woman is married , she automatically becomes her husband's property. And this ideology is absolutely repulsive. If Adi was so disgruntled , he should have simply cancelled the wedding .

Word to everything you said.

Sexual assault is ASSAULT. No justifications for it, whatsoever. Married or not, attempting physical intimacy without consent of partner is Sexual Abuse. Nothing and I mean NOTHING can justify it.

Marriage is no license.Just because the guy is getting married to a woman it does not mean he automatically gets the consent.
Its funny that this day and age we are discussing this.

Why couldn't have aditya asked her about what Shravan had said. Why did he not validate it? Why did he choose to believe Shravan without giving her benefit of doubt. And if her past was bothering him so much why did he not break the alliance?

The guy is outright psycho... and it took Shravan's words to bring it out.

A 100% agreed.
I don't care how wrong Sumo is to be marrying him like this, it does NOT give him the right to even touch her unless she says its okay. Before OR after marriage, consent is important and without it it is WRONG.

exactly..hw can ppl support such nonsense.its lyk saying marry and den get rape license...utter rubbish and marital rape is not punishable becos its difficult to prove. whether it was out of consent or forceful...u cnt prove it..whther d girl is saying true or not..bt yes if its violent rape den it can b punishable under domestic violence...
i dnt understnd even if suman is cheating adi den also he has no right to get violent wid her or hit her he can simply ditch her...nimmo ne koi sanskaar nai diya...he has no respect for women...

And now I feel what shravan did was the right thing. Though it was completely against the rules of friendship. But he saved sumo from a life of torture. This face of Aditya would have come out after marriage then.
How I wish the CVS show tht it was shravan plan to bring out the devil in Aditya.

100% agree with you said. Nothing can justify the way Aditya is reacting.
First of all its been just what less than 2 weeks they have actually known eachother? And they haven't sat down and talked about their lives, or hopes, dreams, past so of course Aditya wont be knowing everything about Sumo. And if he so called loves her, I could understand sadness after Shravan's words...chalo thoda anger bhi but this desperate need, forceful actions, abusive behavior is not right nor justified. Agar itna hi uncomfortable he is with Sumo's past then don't marry but whats up with forcing himself on her. And its not that their marriage is days away or that they share a comfortable relationship where kissing is okay.

And yes last but of absolute importance is that no matter what level of relationship you have with anyone 'non-consent' physical relationship is big NO NO.
